Overview:
In the rain-slicked, neon-drenched streets of a dystopian metropolis, you are thrown out by your boyfriend with nothing to your name. Your only chance to survive and climb out of the gutter is ChyberLink, the city's all-consuming social media platform. Wireburn is a cyberpunk life-simulation game where you guide your character from a penniless outcast in the slums to a high-profile influencer in a luxury sky-loft. Each year you "Age Up," you must manage your stats; Mental Health, Smarts, and Looks along with your finances and growing notoriety. Create content, gain followers, and navigate the treacherous world of online fame. Will you sell out to corporations? Will you augment your body to fit an ideal? As you rise through the ranks, you'll uncover a dark conspiracy at the heart of ChyberLink itself, forcing you to make a choice that could change the digital world forever.​

I worked extremely hard on the core game, with more content coming for it. I'm not one to make demo's, I don't like giving out my work for free, although I will take into consideration your frustration.

let's say that i want to pay .To pay for what exactly?
Perhaps the best move ,without giving your work for free as you said ,would be a teaser demo or trailer .
But give something to us so we can deside what to do with your work .

You not gonna last long with this perspective. This is a pirate site. Your game will end up here at some point whether you give it out for free or not. The devil's pact devs make when engaging with the forum is to capture the exposure and incentivize some of the pirates to support out of good will when they see something they like.

Showing us a game with zero content and saying we should just blindly subscribe is a bad move.

I'll agree with the others and just say that it would be better to not have a demo at all rather than poison the well with a demo this bad.

I found the interface confusing, and yet ugly. I found no game reason to make any particular decision, and the real fun of a game comes from making interesting decisions.

The OF game had the same issue: no interesting decisions.

few critics from the Demo
1- why does this game have a countdown? it makes no sense in the context of the game
2 - the " Age UP" mechanic is bad, it limits player freedom hardcore, it makes the game a lot less fun
3 - This demo needs actual content
4 - The UI is bad and confusing
- Overall this demo falls short compared to other demos we got on this site, the premise is interesting, but so far, that's all this demo has -
- this has nothing to do with the game but -
5 - this is a pirate website, i don't think you'll find a lot of people willing to give money for the game when you gut the whole thing into a less than Alpha tech demo where people don't get much of anything and say " I don't like giving out my work for free" when people subscribe to a game they want to see a "chunk of content"(let's put it this way) so that they know whether or not they're gonna like the game, you demo is far from having a "chunk of content" and acting like you did in your responses doesn't give people a good "vibe"(let's go with this wording) about it

Unless your creating all the artwork from scratch yourself for the supposed upcoming content then you are utilizing other peoples work for free so this stance of not wanting to give out your work for free is slightly hypocritical, If you really want to keep that stance then my recommendation would be to have a free tier and a paid tier.

Option A: *I would avoid this option*
More content is available for the paid tier

Option B: *The better option*
Earlier access to content is the reward for payment, while free tier will get it later.


Option B is the better choice as paid only content typically deters people from investing especially those with a lower spare income.

As for the demo its purpose is to gauge initial intrest in the idea and build exposure, there has to be some give an take you have give something for free to get the initial investment back from the community.

Not a great start but you can still salvage it.

I started this studio with the intention to do both A and B.

The demo is absolutely purposefully vague as current paid members get full access, they are incredibly important to critiquing my every publishing.

I have given something valuable to this community that has surpassed 100K downloads, I built ScrollTok. (8 day project)

I believe my skills bring things to this community that have never existed prior because I have worked for Ubisoft, Electronic Arts and multiple corporations which are much larger and I will not list here.

I am at the top tier of my field, I have declined opportunities from Anthropic, Frontier and more companies to do what I want; for everyone's benefit including my own.
