right on both cases.So they moved to the boosty platform where they still can get money. But sadly highly likely there isn`t serious progress there too

When I first played this game, I thought it was a good start and I was looking forward to the story between the two main characters. But when I played the game again, I found that there was almost no progress between the two main characters, which was really frustrating.

The game is named "Witch Hunter Trainer" and so highly likely the main theme of it is to make from Jack/Jill the good monster hunter. Jim (if I remember correctly his name) is her uncle, she is his niece, what did you suppose to see next for the game line? The sex between them? IMHO for that purposes in the game are dwarfs, mermaids, ghosts, vampires etc etc. But, yes, maybe there will be something in the future - there is a pole dance inventory in Jills`s room, there was a mutial naked bathing of uncle and niece, so maybe the long-waited miracle happens and we`ll see something new, who knows?
This just reminds me: where in the US backwoods do you have to live to asume that incest is automatically the main theme?

After Witch Hunter Trainer [2023-08-07], the only update we've had is this Witch Hunter Trainer Winter Special?
And the sad fact is that it's not a real update but self-finished standalone story.

Yes, it's not a continuation of the main story, and possibly it take place in another world with the same characters, and maybe it's only Jack's lustful dreams, and surely these events haven't happened in the main story, so, yes, you understand correctly

Why has he spent so much time on a side story when the main story is much more engaging and fans are waiting for that?
The only logical reason I can point to is that he's intentionally delaying the project
I'd like to find another reason, but this is the only one that seems logical
If it were a mini-story, there would be no problem, but this is 800 megabytes, almost the size of the main game! Meaning he's spent a lot of time on it...
You are not alone thinking that the developers want to delay this project. But possibly it's not true. I don't remember where I read this - on Patreon or on Boosty - but Team Borsch wrote that they are working on the new persons and the new locations, so highly likely they don't want to cancel this project.
