nah - there is clear that they continue and eventually drop a new update about summer vacation, there is should be a new girl too. But u klnow - 1 update per year and a half is horrible. And almost all comments they got is complaing from ppl and excuses they do.
Based on this, it seems, like the Christmas special before it, that updates are gonna have AI backgrounds. Not only do those not match the art style of the hand drawn ones, they're also implemented really lazily. You have these clean PNGs of characters in the foreground while the background's an artifact-ridden mess of a JPEG. Can Borsch not be bothered to run that shit through with waifu2x or something?
Their problem is not in programming, their problem is in storyline writing. Noone AI can solve this sad one, i suppose.
AI is nothing more than programmable thing. We don't know how the man think, so how can we programm the AI to think? As I know, for now AI can only calculate the weight coefficients for some or another models. I hardly suppose that it is enought for scenarios writing. In another case it will be nothing more than classical story about one thousand monkeys typing letters from the books they are reading and dreaming to write "War And Society" (yes, the inicial russian name of this novel was not "War and Peace" but "War and Society"
