New post!
Final work on the scenes, gameplay test and further development.
Greetings to all!
Well, this week, as expected, we finished developing all the remaining additional scenes that arose during the adaptation of the script and revision of gameplay solutions. By and large, the game content itself is all ready and we just have to put it together, which is what we are doing now.
At this stage, we correlate all the scenes with the existing backgrounds, and also create a lot (a lot) of character emotions for each scene and new character sprites.
The gameplay and mini-games are still in the testing and refinement phase in terms of balance. But I think we'll finish this part soon and move on to the next one, an interactive but unrelated mini-game.
Right now, while one part of the team is working on refining emotions and scene variations, the other part of the team is engaged in testing, as well as preparing content for the next update. In particular, work on the script for version 0.25 has already begun, as we still hope to catch up with the previous pace of development and release updates faster!
Most likely this week we will finish creating all the variations of emotions and scenes. After that, next week, you will need to directly insert all these elements, namely scenes, sprites, variations of emotions, dialogues and gameplay, into the game itself, putting together a working build. It will still take us about a week and a half at best.
We also don't forget about animations. Work on them is already underway and soon we will receive the bulk of the animations for version 0.24, after which we will move on to animating old game scenes.
In general, work is underway, everyone is now immersed in the process and busy with something, which is partly why the schedule of weekly updates has moved down for several days. As always, we will keep you updated on all changes and how close we are to the release of update 0.24. Thank you all for your support and have a nice day!
