This seems to be itch.io for me.
In this version the merchant gave me thistle every time he comes first because one of the fixes :
"Fixing a bug with the merchant that prevented Magnus from selling consumables from the starting ingredient pool;"
And for adding the recipes is right mouse click on it. They are added in the book by doing it.

It does say on the Patreon, it was getting put on Itch.io. I couldn't find it when I searched on itch.io nothing came up under Witch Potions. In any event it's the same version as the Patreon, and it has more herbs than this version. It's also more stable. But it still has all the same errors.

The errors I said prior. Okay, I can work around by restarting the game from its hardcoded autosave. If the menu from the trunk softlocks, or if the recipe softlocks, or if the E button softlocks. The same restart used if I don't get a favourable customer buying strength or healing potions, or there's a lack of vendor. Just restart the game. It hasn't caused the torn parchment pages to become a new recipe. So all that's occurring are the same recipe's and no new progression further.

Nightly events are locked, it says so in the version. What else was locked with another error. You can get a customer as the time changes, and you have a message soft locked on your screen. You can go to bed with a customer in your shop and the customer will be present in the morning. What else was locked?

In any case do you understand why there are all the errors. Look. It's obvious. I am not saying it. They're obvious, above.

For customers that are inside the house and you don't have the right potion you can just give him the wrong potion and he leaves but it is better to refuse them rather then accept. For the events ones the fisherman and the twin tales farm girl is better to not open the door until you bought a potion from the merchant and the ingredients for it I will put the potions on a spoiler If you don't mind being spoiled have a look.

The recipe, as in you pull up the recipe, what do I need to put into the pot, exactly as it's detailed in the recipe, a recipe appears, it's often on the righthand side of the screen. It has an enter icon to cancel it. Except it can get stuck, softlocked onto the screen. Like if you opened the trunk with the empty potion vials in. It resets on a restart and seemingly changes daily. It can also get softlocked, the x icon to cancel it gets stuck and it will remain on the screen. Like the E button being softlocked and not working.

I deleted the old versions and installed the linked version on Patreon. The newest version.

No saves. There is no save feature. So when I delete the version as explained, the autosave is wiped, it cannot use the continue feature. The game is a new game from the latest version installed. If you start a new game:

1-The merchant gives you thistle first visit. One less thing you are complaining about.

2- He gives you love potion recipe take it from the bench into your inventory bar and then right click it. If it works there the second most problem you have is gone.

3- night is not in the game because it is a future feature. If you don't let farm girl or fisherman into the house you can't get soft locked. It is a first release and although some bugs are annoying at least they have easy work around they took a day to fix the most game breaking bugs and release a new version.

So wait for other version to play it. It is for the better but you have no right to bash the game.

And you are putting judgement on this game based on wrong comparisons. No code is locked they just put things in the game that are functionality for the future features and this system is not yet on the game.

It is good practice to do it and If you read their messages on discord you might have known it. So they informed who took the time to check and you made presumptions and bashed the game without checking.

I get softlocked every 3-5 minutes. Retried from scratch over 10 times. I think it's a skip for now until the game is made playable. The graphics have potential, however I don't believe the 'no AI' tag as the pictures in frames look very much AI-made.

About the no AI tag. Here are my opinions about it.
On the previews here on the site the last one gif has the shading magically changing and that might be either use of AI or an artifact when creating the gif. Or the artist loaded a image with different shading on the game when he tried to make the movement go the other way.

Either way without accusations it would be nice to know which is the correct assumption. But on the counter part steam now makes the devs announce the usage of AI and how it was used. The steam page as of yet does indicate no use of AI.

Thank you very much. I tried it too but my understanding of unity is very bad I used dnspy on assembly csharp and melonload unity with unity explorer and was unable to find them.

Not pointless for me. It is indeed pointless If people are playing the version on the OP which is 0.1. That is unplayable and a bug mess but the second version on itch.io is playable.

Aside from most of the important stuff is in Russian i just gave up since i tried so many times and restarted just to conduct a potion but it wont work even with the recipes above, if someone can just share a save file that would be greatly appreciated

Except it obviously doesn't save, and if you delete your old game version then you cannot continue it on another new game version.

He doesn't give you thistle, it's a purple flower, a thistle, he didn't give it to me it in x5 of his visits. I bought the scroll for 200 off of him. I right clicked it. I also dragged on the book icon. It disappeared. Nothing was added into my book. You say it's a love potion? Then the fisherman would work. He needs a love potion for the mermaid. Or you might sell him if you had, thistle, the remove curse potion.

I also got another recipe off the virgin, the virgin who either needs poison, or you have various dialogue options, she returns with an ingredient, and a recipe, and wants you to make a potion for the baron. He demands the rights of the first night. Again it wasn't added into my book with the x4 starting potions. Only x2 can be crafted because there was no thistle, and it wasn't being sold in x5 vendors visits.

No, the soft lock happens everywhere, at any time. It just happens. Just like the soft lock at night time. Where you can literally have a customer in the shop, but there's this message locked on the screen saying, there's no night activities until you end the day. Like when E doesn't work. Or when the vial chest stays open on your screen and you cannot remove it. Or like how the recipe also stays on the screen and you cannot remove it. The same lock.

What are you even saying. It's wrong. The fisherman locks the game and the farm girl? No. The game soft locks everywhere. Like the soft lock at night.

You said the vendor gives you a love potion. Contrary, if you had a love potion you could give it to the fisherman. You can buy a recipe off the vendor for 200. It wasn't a love potion, I don't know what it is, it wasn't in the recipes. Neither was the virgin's recipe. She's a virgin because rights of the first night, or is asking for advice on who to be in love with or who to poison. The game didn't soft lock. It was the same. Obviously it might not progress further, it doesn't if there's no recipes being added. What is the farm girl? There's somebody demanding potions for curse treatments, a nun or noble, and another demanding potions for her sons.

You didn't know what a thistle was, if you said it's given to you by the vendor on his first visit. No it isn't in the x5 herbs he gives you at the very beginning, and it wasn't available or being sold in x5 more of his visits, where I kept restarting the game to get his visit.

You asked if I saved my game. I cannot save my game. It autosaves.

That is illegible despite those bullet points. Even the dev on their Patreon posts says to restart if the game soft locks. Like E not working, or menus getting stuck. Like at night the soft lock locking nightly activities despite there being people in the shop.

There is no save. It would be nice if there was, there isn't. It autosaves. So deleting the version here, and using the dev's linked Patreon version, doesn't have a save. It starts a new game. There's no continue point. It's a new game. You might try to locate it, pointlessly.

There's no purple flower given to you, a thistle, I have restarted this game, new game, x4 times. No, he doesn't give it to you at the start of the game. Later he wasn't selling it in x5 visits. The recipe he had wasn't added into the recipes. Neither was the Virgin's.

I just restarted. I got the thistle as well for a change. The first I had seen it. In four attempts. The game soft locked the next minute. E doesn't work on the first customer to open the door. I have to restart it.

Oddly he gave x6 herbs this time. I know I am playing the correct version because I have x10 herbs of each type. Like I was last night after downloading from Patreon.

Then it soft locked again after I restarted, as I was making the potion for the first customer. I went to open the vial chest and E isn't working again.

The game is a pile of ass. Literally. It's a RNG what herbs he gives, and it soft locks every other second.
