as long as you keep both games nicely in fully separate folders, you should be able to have both. the Silver does still contain parts of the (original) vanilla game so that should look famliar from the beginning. it will change from there as you progress, naturally.

Yes, it takes time. If you are up to level 14 by day 32 I'd say you are doing pretty well. Fortunately there's enough other stuff going on in the game for it never to become tedious. (YMMV, I suppose.)

You just keep grinding until you reach a certain level, then the hat asks you to bring in another student. Just keep playing
