If the computer you tested on have Japanese language/locale installed, the error shouldn't occur.

Whatever the reason is, we still have to fix that issue in our end as soon as possible. We don't want players to change too many settings in their computers just to play our game.
... Except for the graphics settings of course. Windows sometimes just doesn't bother to switch to discrete GPU for our game on some computers, so some of you may have to switch it manually in Windows graphics settings to get the full experience, if your computer has a discrete GPU.

We have released a patch for fixing the Japanese file reading/"Failed to load" error on some computers. If you are encountering the error, download the patch in the thread and extract it to the current game folder.

On another note, I see that the game is using NW.js v0.72.0, that is not the latest but is really up to date compared to what RPG Maker ships. Nice job.

I also found a bug, if the wolf attacks the girl near the exit tile, moving to the exit tile right after that won't move to the next map.

NW.js v0.72.0 is the latest version that supports Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. If we upgrade NW.js to a higher version, computers running these OSes will not be able to play this game.

But I think v0.72.0 is acceptable, since its release date is around the end of 2022, and it's much better than v0.29.0 that RPG Maker MV uses.

Yeah, you should target that guy first. you should have enough energy for W if strip enough armor.

You can try if you want since this game has no data protection, but as of right now we can't provide any support for players using JoiPlay on Android.
But of course we will support it in the future, especially touch support since this game also focuses on mouse clicks.
