i have not played this game for many years and i would like to try again this new version (i did not now this game was getting new versions) so i don't know for what this code is, would you like to explain it for me?

Soo... what do I do in the Torture Room? I ended up using the saves but the plague doctor guy in the torture room just... won't die. I swear the logs say something about the slave cat having more, and a cannibal or something that I can't seem to find.
Check HERE . The torture room is divided in 3 stages. The cat and the cannibal will appear in the next stages.
how tf do you get past the first boss, i tried rolling, jumping, attacking, and even chain escaping his grabs, but I cannot get past him and to the big belly girl that is hanged.
Nevermind, turns out the secret was just beating the first enemy again to get to level 3, then getting 2 extra balls to then put them into Power stat and forward kick the boss to death. Wow.

My game does not save.
I downloaded the latest version, extracted the file, entered the password and I am able to start the application. Hower, even though I slept in the bed past the first enemy, i cannot return there once I close the game and reopen it. The "resume"-Button is simply blurred out.
I looked into the game folder to see if I could find a saves folder and I think this is where the problem lies: When I extraced the game it created an application and a 002-file, which I cannot access.
How do I fix this to get the ability to save my games?

The game should create a folder called "data" right after you start the game. Do you have this folder? The game starts to save after you went to bed and get up right after. You press the spacebar to wake up and this will trigger the game to save. Maybe you didn't unzip all files correct? Did you also unzip the.exe or just the ZIP-folder?

If nothing of all this helps try to copy the first save from my savelist, rename it "data" and test out if its saving.

Ok so Malwarebytes flagged the exe as a Trojan, so I uploaded to virustotal just to see, multiple hits for Trojan. This is the file from eluku's website, not any 3rd party.
it also calls to 2 separate IP address that virustotal reads as malicious. Has anyone experienced any windows related issues after running wolf dungeon? Or is Eluku's input capturerer just really malware-y?
This doesn't explain the IP outcalls, i'm gonna do more in depth testing with wireshark and burp and other tools in a VM.

Unfortunately I was not able to fix the problem with either of your methods (reinstalled the game and followed elukus tutorial step by step and also created a new data folder with your save - nothing worked)

Anyway, I am gonna describe what happens during the installation with a bit more detail and maybe somebody has the time and nerve to help me. (Otherwise I will just have to not die the whole game, which is... kinda not the point)
So, I downloaded the three up to date files. There is a archive-file called Wolf'sDungeon240923.7z, a 002-file with the same name and an application called Wolf'sDungeon240923.
I started the applcation to extract the files into a new folder, which I called "wolfs dungeon". For this I used the password which was posted a few days ago by a user called Ytiza
The result was a single app-file in my new folder, called "Wolf´s dungeon". No data folder anywhere in sight.
Starting the game, beating the first enemy and sleeping in the bed that comes right after him does not change this situation. When I stop sleeping there is a notification at the bottom of the screen, telling me the game just saved and even telling me, the file is located in my newly created "wolfs dungeon"-folder und "data". Which obviously drives me mad and lets me question my sanity, because there is no data folder whatssoever.
So this is basically the situation. I would be very grateful if anybody could spare some of his time helping me out of my misery. This whole thing has become quite an obsession of mine, because I hate problems of this type and also I really wanna play this game

3. Right mouse click the folder, then select 7-zip hover over to the right, then go to ---> extract to "Wolf'sDungeon240923\"
4. Now it should look like this--->
Double click the folder on the top now.5. Now it should look like this--->
In my case I can double click the .exe file , then windows asks me if I want to extract the files.... (step 6. follows) or you do right mouse click on the ..7z.001 file. Select 7-zip, hover to the right and select ---> Extract here (step 6. follows) or you can also mark all 3 files at once and select 7-zip, hover to the right and select ---> Extract here (step 6. follows). It doesn't really matter actually, the game runs and saves for me with all 3 options without any problems.....6. Now a pop up will open and ask you for the password, copy and paste this---> 4Y34GNJ7 and click ok and it's done. You should now have this
among the other 3 files. Double click it to start the game.7. As soon as you start the game a folder called " data " should also appear inside the same folder where you just double clicked the .exe
Nah, I've known about his little rape-cage-fight side project ever since he first added the Goblin Fight, it's just that I can't believe after 3+ years we're still stuck waiting for more side project updates with the Minotaur still up there being a dead end.
The Plague Doctor fight? Just get knocked out in front of all 4 devices and survive each torture to light up the candles.

Unfortunately it still does not work. I did everything exactly like you said but step 7 just does not happen. It´s so frustrating...
Everything looks exactly like it should and the game runs perfectly fine. It just doesn´t save and there is no data folder...
If you or anybody else on this site have even the slightest idea why this is the case: every hint is appreciated!
(Ain´t no way I am the only person ever who for some mysterious reason is forever unable to play the game)

Where are these lazy fuckheads coming from who are requesting Eluku, on his own site no less, to make a paid gallery for the game's game over animations, just because they don't want to play the game part of the game Eluku's making?

I can think of 4 things you can try for troubleshooting, try running to the rest point after each of these and see if you can make a save:
1a) Create an empty folder next to Wolf'sDungeon.exe
1b) Name the empty folder "data" (without the quotation marks)
2) Put the game's folder on your desktop, rather than wherever it's currently stored. Might be having issues with the current directory.
3) Try to run the game with

4a) I will warn you, despite it most likely being a false positive, this game DOES sometimes get picked up by anti-viruses, so you're doing this 4th step at your own risk. I would personally not worry about it, but felt like I should warn you regardless.
4b) If the problem is that files aren't being created, you could try running the game as an administrator. It might just need the permissions to write files to your computer.

I don´t know which action solved the problem (I did all the things except the emulator) but it worked
