Big fan of Eluku but this part of the game has dragged out for years at this point lol. It's the definition of glacial pacing. Man I am dying to move on this really dumb fight.

From my participation in other communities, very few people even think the torture room is all that good anyway. For me, it's really forgettable.
You have to appreciate that Eluku probably isn't just developing this full-time. Developing this game is likely just a hobby he updates on weekends for fun. So we'll get whatever he feels like at the time, and it'll take however long it takes. Can't ask for much more than that.

I agree, I don't understand why the torture room exists to begin with... First I thought it's an easier way for Eluku to test new assets, bit like a sandbox. But following up on new posts it takes the direction of a new game altogether... It's weird, I wish he would advance the game past the statue, give us a new area, and get us closer to an actual ending before adding random things in- and outside of the game ^^'
I have to say I didn't wanted the game at all, what I wanted was Fairy Fighting 2. But who am I to tell him what to do and in the end, it will be a very good game overall.
Wolf's Dungeon (for me) is a downgrade in terms of fighting style animations and everything else. Of course, others do not agree with me and I can understand their points of very well.

I'm inclined to both agree and disagree. Overall details of character are higher, animations also seem more detailed, but at the same time more bland. I quite expected something more akin to Fairy Fighting aswell, Expandabee, Milk Jellyfish, Frozenwolves, etc styled thing, instead.... it's all rather bland.

i do agree that the artstyle and animations are a little blend. Should have more identity and details to it.

Oh, we know it's a hobby for him. He's said as much, and clarified that even further when he opened up subs. That doesn't change the fact that it's going at a slow pace or that he's been adding like 3 boss encounters' worth of mechanics to one fight few seemingly care for. It's very gushy scope. The 2d fighter style arena alone basically forced him to make a new game inside a preexisting game.

I'm not trying to be mean, I just wish since he is just doing this as a hobby that he'd really reign in that scope. Spending an entire year (probably longer now) on a single boss is insane. For the record, a lot of indie devs also work on their project part-time until they get a successful release and can make do full time or at least lean on it more heavily.

That's true for almost all indie creative ventures, from novel writing to music, streaming, or being a youtuber. It's an explanation but not really an excuse.

I like both of his games!
Fairy Fighting has a different focus than WD. FF is a fighting game, you fight one enemy and get to the next stage.
WD is your typical 2D side-scroller game where you collect items, solve puzzles, explore and fight the area boss.
The arena fights in WD are the only thing that comes close to FF.
Eluku sure takes his time for WD but I would rather wait a few more months or maybe years than seeing it getting abandoned!

I can't tell what is about to come after the torture room..... How close is he to 100%? What areas are still planned? I recall something with the undead/zombies!? Maybe it will go faster after the torture room is finished? Who knows.....

There is nothing we can do about his pace, if he would work full time on the game he could be faster for sure! Complaining about him, how slow he is won't speed him up at all. He also has a private life, problems, work, gets ill, is busy and has other stuff to do like we all.......

So let's sit back and wait. ( :coffee: sips tea)

I'm happy with whatever game Eluku makes
Much praise goes to Toffi-Sama for making Fairy War and inspiring Eluku to start making Fairy Fighting all those years ago!

I agree, but I'll also say that I don't want a FF2 (without switching game engines).

Eluku kinda blew his(/her?) gameplay load early on (the Snakegirl is arguably the best designed enemy in the game). The last few bosses of FF were pretty much gimmick bosses. Use specific moves and nothing else or lose (hello Rapewolf).

WD has already run into the same problem and I suspect thats why eluku keeps adding different states Nona can be in. Remember when growing Nona getting pregnant was pretty much a game over? Or growing a dick? Who here wants to bet money that some future update will add a "branded" or "tattooed" Nona?

For me it's almost hot enough, but the game is too violent and the art style is weirding me out. I recognize it from Fairy Fighting though.

It's just so hard, I guess I'm noob but i'm grind this game for 3 hours and so hard, all bosses so strong idk @@
same, the bosses outside the first have really cheap patterns the slug girls projectile attack is one that really got my blood boiling given its a ranged stunlock and if they knock you down its pretty much a guaranteed reload... which is a shame i like brest expantion and content like that.

Is the torture arena unwinnable?
You can win the stage 1 (plague doctor) and the stage 2 (skull) of the torture room at the moment. Stage 3 is not finished so it's not possible to get past it.

The game is definitely not designed for average players and needs some skill and time to get used to it. If you max out your stats the game gets a lot easier and once you mastered how to dodge properly it will be a piece of cake.
In the end Wolf's Dungeon was never meant to be a porn game that you play with "one hand" like other side-scrollers!

Ok, I Give up. How do I fight the sucking tree? I have tried everything. I can't even hit the thing without getting grabbed and ending up slow and defenseless against the spider. I've managed to kill the spider before but it appears to do nothing for me. I notice that I end up with a full collect bar when I let the spider get me, and I assume that's part of the puzzle, but there appears to be no way for me to do anything with it besides get a game over. I would really appreciate a detailed breakdown of what to do because I'm at my wits end and that long walk gets more annoying every time.

how to pass this sence? i cant find the way out
You have to undress, this is achieved by pressing and holding CTRL+E. It will seem like it's not working, but just hold it for a while. After that you have to go to the goblin on the right side of the screen and let him fill your collect bar. After that go to the mechanism and press down. You have to do it 2 or 3 times to fully press down the button and open the door in the previous room.
