New update is up:

Dunno if it is new, but you can not assault grey cat. It seems there is no game over for either combatant yet.

Though I must say, it feels less and less like a lesbian cat fight...

Excuse me, but does every porn game creator with escape mechanics in their game want you to get carpal tunnel? Seriously.
Use AHK / turbo input macros. They don't want you to get carpal tunnel, they just want you to have fun.

Never used those ahk/macros, anyrecommendation/tip for dummies to install/put them?
AHK = autohotkey, freely available on the internets, runs off of user generated scripts and can do magic shit like make your gamepad control your mouse without the need for drivers etc. Less user friendly but infinity more capable of getting whatever you need done macro wise.

Here's one of several hundred examples, most of which you can search for and contain ready to use scripts with toggles etc. The sky's the limit with AHK*

As for macros built in, most razer, logitech and other HID's have their own software with configurable buttons and many of those also support 3rd party keyboard replacers / toggles which can be found with minimal googling. If you already have a "brand" keyboard, just check the software that comes with it.

For this specific example, the game's "struggle" mostly uses direction keys and the attack key (WASD/space) so you can program a single button like numpad 0 to act like WASD combined, meaning 1 num0 press sends WASD immediately, and you can just tap that a few times. You can go further and have it autofire, autofire when toggled, autofire only when held, etc.

Or they could make it so you don't need several god damn repetitive presses to escape.
Right, but then it'd be a visual novel.

I know that one's circumstances can change at any time over a lifetime, but I can honestly say that I truly miss the days when Eluku was working on the early stages of Fairy Fighting and was updating like 2-3 times a week. Even when he started doing weekly (and occasional biweekly) updates the updates felt worth the wait.

I don't know what happened along the way in the development of Wolf's Dungeon, but it feels as if the updates — whenever we do get them — aren't as good as what they used to be. For years I downloaded every single update to his games (lost a few after a shitty hard drive error) that he would publicly release and this lasted until the some time during the cliff area. I have no idea why, but him implementing these "part time jobs" or whatever he called them make no sense and/or are uninteresting to me. The time he's been working on these two rooms could have been spent finishing the contraption after the area with the harpies. At this point it kind of feels like he has no idea what he wants to do with the game and is just throwing random stuff in as it comes to him.

I know not everyone will agree with me and I'm fairly certain I'll draw the ire of someone by posting this, but today has been a long day and I just wanted to express my thoughts on this particular subject that has been nagging me for a while.

Nah, I said something similar a while back. I haven't played in quite a while so I dunno what's changed, but sounds like not enough from your message. I was around and followed Fairy Fighting as heavily as you seem to have followed Wolf's Dungeon, but I haven't been too keen on this game. Eluku has trouble with less linear stuff I think.

Wow, gotta say, the constantly changing the wolf girl's attacks is a really lame way to add difficulty. Trains your brain that certain keys do something, then swaps them around randomly whenever the dev feels like fucking over the player in an unfair manner. Just the basic attacks + nude attacks was fine. But then you advance along the story and your moves are constantly changing. It's impossible to remember what everything does and when it does it. Fighting the controls more than anything else. Even just swapping screens can change your attacks at certain points for no reason. Like, oh ok, I moved across this screen and now I can't uppercut or dodge anymore, cool.

A lot of random ways to progress with no hints too. Without a guide, this is pretty obnoxious. The fly area and futa boss is a good example. Some areas you have to intentionally lose to continue, sometimes not, sometimes you have to do a fucking loop and go back to the start and then get fucked by some random monster, some bosses are invincible, some seem invincible but aren't. Who the fuck knows. That inconsistency doesn't add challenge, it just confuses people. You're not rewarded for playing smart, you're rewarded for being lucky or trying 5 million random things that shouldn't do anything based on what you've learned so far, but I guess they do now, because fuck the player lol.

Also wish the escape mechanics was always the QTE instead of swapping between spamming keys and QTE.

Seems like Eluku couldn't decide what to do with the game, so he tried to do all the things. Feels like a bit of a mess to me. Think I still prefer Fairy Fighting. There are some points in this game that are cool, and then the dev just throws them in the trash and swaps to completely different systems. So weird. It's like he smashed a half dozen games together and didn't bother to explain most of them to the player in any way. There are ways to teach players of changes without spoon feeding them or just dropping shit on them that contradicts what they've been doing up until that point. I think Eluku could benefit from thinking about how a player would advance through this game.

I'm glad it's not just me then. I'm in total agreement with you on your points as well.

I will admit that I am a lover of futa, but I hate that it's more of a debuff than anything else. From my experience you may as well reload your save if you get an erection while fighting two or more enemies on a screen. They never let up and you never seem to have enough time to masturbate to get rid of the damn dick before getting grappled. On top of all of that, it feels like the futa content was just tacked on. What I mean by that is if she didn't have the cock (after escaping the fat cat) the game wouldn't feel too much different at all excluding being less difficult and I hate that.

One other thing I don't like that this game seems to do horribly wrong is any grapple that involve more than one aggressor. There may be more, but the two that are most prominent in my memory are the eel things under water and the goblins on the cliff. The animations aren't bad (the goblins needle dicks do look weird though), but I find it to be absolutely infuriating to try and witness the animations for just Nona and an individual aggressor or dual aggressors without the third (and sometimes gameover-inducing) aggressor getting involved. An example where this is done well would be the worm things right after escaping the fat cat. There's a screen with a single worm, there's a screen with three worms, and then there's a screen with two worms. You don't get that with the examples I listed earlier. The only thing you get is a game over or the need to go all the way back to the cat you rescued to buy the item to clean yourself out.

it's not just me that thinks this is needlessly difficult, right? like it's not even difficult because it's a difficult game, it's difficult for the sake of it, if that makes sense.

Question about Wolf Dungeon: Are both galleries limited? I have gotten all the way to the golden apple, however, the gallery is only a quarter full with those of the dungeon and only the butterfly from the outside. Do you have to fully complete the game in order to acquire the entire gallery?

Neither gallery is complete and likely won't be that way until the game is complete.

You can browse his weekly blog entries (or bi-weekly if he skips a week) on by using the link at the bottom of the page that says 1623758085193.png to go to older entries or 1623758139693.png to go back to a more recent set of entries. There is also a sidebar that allows you to navigate to specific posts as well.

Outside of what was said there is no form of compiled changelog information as far as I know.
