It could be a screen refresh rate issue so try lowering it to 75htz or however low your screen goes. You could also try to put the file directly in c:\ and then run the game. If none of this works the only other suggestion would be a windows emulator.(Again Good Luck)

Though it should be noted in the above episode steve ends up hallucinating and goes to the hospital to get his stomach pumped because he let it cook so long it basically poisoned him.
