What door are you talking about? The one with the minotaurus statue? That one isn't implemented yet afaik. It's supposed to open after a minigame with the statue but only if you have removed the parasite. So afaik there is no way to get past that yet.

Ah no, I mean the very first door in the first room you begin a new game in. After beating the first enemy he never drops a key or anything. Previous versions worked fine though
