Same here, Windows Defender tells me it has a virus... The previous version of the game before the recent update was fine tho... Is this version actually safe?

If you all did a search of this thread you would have found dozens of posts that reveal that this game has gotten false positives multiple times over the years. There is no alternative 'clean' download. Either you accept its a false positive and get to play the game or move along go play something else.

The most recent file uploaded is definitely finicky; it constantly failed to save properly in one way or another despite bypassing any virus warnings, and it even straight up crashed Helium browser every time trying to download it via MEGA. Pixeldrain on Helium was the only combo that worked to download without issues for me.

That doesn't change the fact that it's a false positive. Are you trying to run the game on a toaster?
