Trashing on other 2D games for tracing.
And then using Koikatsu for tracing.
As a 2D art lover I always support 2D games. Games like Eva Kiss use traced art, there is nothing wrong with that. It's not stealing, she makes something new and unique in her game.
This dev trashed on other devs, but later they do exactly what they trashed about. The shitty thing is not tracing, the shitty thing here is being a hypocrite. I only commenting here because I see so much drama here that easily be solved if the dev calms down and listens to advice. Many 2D devs don't get any support. You have support, and fans, but you blocked them and threw them away. Be grateful, you have supportive fans, stop acting crazy before you lose them. Good luck to you, dev.
Eh, I see this as a two way street. The "fans" are gonna act shitty, then the dev are gonna act shitty in turn.
Imagine this, you're one person trying to create a little porn game and you're giving it away practically for free. But now the pirate website that you're distributing your shit on won't even let you get what little money people are even willing to give you.
To me, creators on any kind of forums gets a little leeway because it's usually one of them against at least 5-6 people being shitty them. Those with working sympathy can tell you how bad it feels to have 1-2 person trashing you and something you worked hard on, imagine double, triple, or 10 times that depending your popularity. And you're not even trained for this shit, you just want to create things, and end up working as a virtual retail position, faced with people with even less restrain than IRL thanks to anonymity.
Devs not getting support, or getting support but one day disappear because of this kind of behavior is just you guys getting your just deserved TBH.
Devs that actually overcame this and be successful? Kudos to you. Otherwise? Eh, it's just the nature of things
