You can go to youtube and search for "winlator setup" there are many videos. Basically just leave it as default and you can play well, but you need a phone with a bit stronger hardware. Snapdragon 845 and above will be fine.
Problem is, I'm using an old phone running Android 9 that I'm trying to get to run it on. Reading that Winlator can run on Android 9 but the documentation to do so is few and far between. That's why I was originally requesting if anyone knew if there was an APK for it available.
Unity is the most common engine used for mobile games and many of the same ones have had APK's made for them. This one just hasn't yet, most likely due to being a niche game.

Yes! Any unity 2d game can be built for android but the devs want to make it or not, if they don't want then the only way is to play on Winlator :v But if your phone doesn't meet the requirements then you can't play it.
I get this but I seriously doubt HappyCreator ever has any intention of creating an Android version of the game. And with so many mobile games already using Unity as a game engine, I was under the impression that modders and/or 3rd-party-developers were the ones often times taking the initiative and were the ones creating APK's for many games where the original developer of said game had not created a mobile version of the game after some time had passed since its original release.
So, but the problem with this is that there are people who only use Android, as is my case, I don't use computer games for a long time and for me as a consumer, I think it's neglectful, but if the developer doesn't care about it, everything is fine!

Good news! I found a way to play on android without any emulator and it should work on your phone.
you just need to download this Apk, first time open the app press the yellow button, then click on the green button in the middle of the screen, a notification board will appear, click on the right option and wait for it to download the game, then enjoy! I tested it with android emulator on PC works fine.
it's a chinese app, i don't know if there will be any risks? but it's on a big game download site so i think it's ok.

There are some issues with this Android version, but I've found workarounds:
Saving Issue: When saving the game, the return function might malfunction. To avoid this, go back to the main menu after saving, then load your game.
Minor Texture Glitches: You might encounter some minor texture glitches, but these shouldn't affect your overall gameplay experience.

Try using 7z. Archiving was done with its help. Although unpacking with standard means should also go well.
