Well their Patreon had an update on Feb 18, stating that they lost contact with the new artist... so there's that. But they also mentioned that production was still under way... so there's that.

At the very least it shows signs of life, even if they may seem rather faint.

I was quite fond of it myself. There's something about simpler, lesser detailed art that appeals to me. The Villain Trainer art is just way too over-designed for my taste in general, let alone for porn. Alas, that artist (or both of them at this point?) seems to be way past long gone, and the "new" guy, Rapetacular, didn't have a style that was very similar, even more so since he seems to have moved into SFM work. If I could guess he either saw more potential in the SFM market or just prefers 3D animation to 2D drawings. Or he's easily bored and just wanted a change of pace. Hard to say and ultimately irrelevant.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, Rapetacular on his/her own patreon acknowledged that "the earlier commissioner for the avatar series have tried getting back into contact" with him, only 5 days before Mindbreakstudios effectively said he has gone MIA. So unless this just so happens to be a different Rapetacular that had a big Avatar project commision type thing lined up, this just sounds even stranger than before.

A shame both of these are abandoned. There aren't many good atla porn parodies, and these ones had very interesting premises (also turning Korra into a meat toilet would have been the dream)

Shame this was abandoned, sounded like a cool idea! Sure there's more than enough Avatar / Korra trainers out there, buut a what-if where Ozai won and you're forced to play nice with crazy Fire Lord Azula is a cool story idea, regardless of it having hentai or no. Ah well, I suppose.

the guy keeps saying he's coming back but i doubt he ever will.

he first said he was gonna work on a new build and suddenly he took on a temp job setting up some video conference software.

it's understandable but i predict that after he is done with that he'll either not have motivation or once again have trouble getting an artist involved and just giving up like last time.

I'm not subbed to him so I have no idea what any of his sub posts say, but I did notice that the Patreon only mentions "Hero Trainer" now, so I'm led to assume that "Villain Trainer" is either dead, or on indefinite hiatus (so, dead). Bit of a shame, considering a lot of this thread seemed to prefer Villain's approach more than Hero's, but understandable considering that would be double the workload ona seemingly limited/struggling team. Anything else would be near baseless assumption at this point and I'd rather not tin-hat the guy considering he very clearly wants to have something happen, so that's all I've got really.

You may have noticed a few changes to the Patreon. There are only three tiers now. For the foreseeable future, the Patreon will revolve around writing the game, rather than developing every aspect at once. The team will not be expanded at this time. I'm going to proceed using placeholders in any future game builds and wait for the right artist to come along. I've also shortened the title of the game to just Hero Trainer. It's cleaner.
In addition, I have taken on a new, original project, working with a dedicated artist who will launch his own Patreon. I can't say more about it at the moment, except that it's also a trainer game. Equal attention will be paid to both projects, but neither will take up all of my time. Honestly, Hero Trainer has become somewhat of an albatross around my neck. I'm still enthusiastic about eventually finishing it, but at some point, I became obsessed with making it perfect, especially in the replication of existing character voices. That's not healthy and it's not what I originally intended. With an original project, I can take back control of my own, unique writing voice. I'm not giving up on making Hero Trainer as authentic as possible, but I just need some room to breathe.
However, I'm still going to spend at least 20 hours a week working on Hero Trainer. There will be writing updates every two weeks and monthly event line polls, starting next month. You'll see progress unlike ever before, because the only person I have to rely on is myself. I'm also totally free to spend all my time writing, whatever it is. I hope to have a placeholder-reliant demo out by summer's end at the latest. This Patreon will remain the sole source of updates about the game.
Thank you for the support.

Randomly stumbled upon this game and it made me curious - can anyone provide a link to the new game?

well damn. it's been awhile since i last spoke to anybody about it. i am Cassandra Saturn, also known as Avatar Korra by everybody... also the virtual korra cosplayer. i was the former Korra Mascot and an independent promoter for Mindbreak Studios and World Hero Trainer. i worked with Trainerfan on the game promotion all these years ago. i can really confirm for you that Trainerfan (creator of Mindbreak Studios) was caught scamming people by me and i put stop to it, going around the internet warning donors about it back then. he made up lot of lies saying he was gone, inactive etc.. he never really got a chance to make money and get rich right off on the franchise name/brand. luckily for everyone else, i saved them from getting scammed. it really doesn't matter, i do what i think is right and to protect my own fans especially the fans of Korra.

even if he's back at making it, he still never will.. proabably not make it for real. because he's been attempting this many times and still can't pull his own weight. the reason these artists left was because he's not exactly helpful or even being nice. the artists have their own reasons and won't specify why.. that's their business. since i worked closely with Trainer himself, he's not exactly in good light and i can confirm that. he never got back to me on the whole promotion. especially if he wanted me to continue promoting. he really isnt the type of person who would want to make his community happy. excuses, excuses are his thing. sad thing is, he was only doing this just to get money. but who am i to think otherwise or to argue? everything else about it was fishy from the day i met him. i wanted to believe, but my B.S. meter was going off the rails in full alert.. yeah, i was very very skeptical about it, going into it anyway. then it happened, confirmed my B.S. i know you guys might not agree or don't like it.. it's just the way facts speak about Mindbreak Studios more than you realize.

in fact, Trainer was too far in his mind trying to start other project when he already had current project. i wouldn't do that in first place. i'd finish the project first. just 2 cents.

I mean I'd hardly be surprised considering his update time tbh, I'm a skeptic about 80% of the devs on here about that sht
