Absolutely. I was gonna start doing that once you as the MC learned more of the language. The intent is for the player to understand as much as the character you're playing understands.

VictorSeven really liked the new content release and the episode quality, nice work as usual that nature of the plot where it gets a bit serious or heavy on the thriller and then easily converting into the humorous side such creativity is pleasing to see. Also as mentioned previously as well would probably wanna submit a review for this and handful other games, that is when am able to summarize the ideas precisely along with probably also studying F95 review rules think they have some guidelines too and wasn't aware of it so will do that as well. And expect you have nice year ahead with success, that is if it is already the 1st in the location you are in, or warm greetings in prior advance!

Why not change the plot. I would have it where he understands ALL languages but doesn't understand how but later in the game he learns that he was born to understand every language because his mom was a sorcerer.

So, that's a super interesting suggestion because I've heard a couple of people mention it would be fun for Aurum to not be entirely human. However, when I presented this idea to the Discord community, most people seemed to think that it was Aurum's kinda Nothing Special, Ordinary Human thing was, in turn, what made the story so enjoyable. Being limited in scope of power and having to use your brain and heart because that's all you have was really fun for the majority of players, so I opted not to give him any special powers other than the artifact Yuka allows him to use.

That really is one of the best things about our MC, he's just a nice, ordinary guy with way more brains and even common sense than the average AVN protags. And I do like your concept of us as players having only the knowledge that our MC has. Anyone who reads first-person novels should already be well accustomed to that concept, and as you are in fact a nationally published novelist of course it makes sense for you to use that approach. (I didn't realize the Dryad language in WCA was actually from your Riftkey Chronicles; that's really seriously cool.) One of these days I'll actually remember that I've been meaning to look you up on Google Play or Kindle so I can read your series....

Thank you for the kind words! Not only is that where the Dryad language as a whole comes from, but it's also the series that Wither, Saarya, and Maika come from. Now, you won't see Wither because she doesn't show up until book... 6 or 7 I think, which I'm a long ways off from, and Saarya is only briefly shown at the beginning of Spirit Magic, but Maika is a fairly major character throughout Spirit Magic and I've been itching to write her arc for WCA. I have Wither and Maika's original designs here as well:

Eventually, I want to make either a VN or a combination Metroidvania/VN/Roguelike out of the series. Still figuring out how exactly I want to execute that. Sadly I think Ren'py is the wrong engine to do so, and I may end up using something like Godot with their MetSys Metroidvania toolkit.

As for WCA -- been loving this one since 0.1.4. Not a fan of the whole separating the individual girls' events from the main flow of the story thing, but I'm sure you had your reasons. Other than that the game remains seriously awesome

Well, regarding that, would you believe there are people out there who don't want to include every single girl in the game? lol the biggest complaint I got was being "forced" to interact with characters the players didn't like. And well, there are a lot of different characters, so there were bound to be some turn-offs here and there. Like, seriously? lol. There's not one girl in that game that's not well worth spending time with. Even a couple that are outside my usual "zone" have huge hearts (to match their huge size) and are totally worth getting to know, even if you never bang 'em. Makes me wonder what guys like that would think of, say, a certain bat i've recently become acquainted with.... (she sounds adorbs too, is there charactr art of her? mebbe she shuld make an appearance in WCA; i bet she'd get along with Wither nicely)
That's just harem "fans". Base their entire personality around liking harem games and want a game with 28 love interests just so they can reject 25 of them and complain that they're all ruining the genre.

) and rejecting maybe 2 or 3 of them, but the kinda guys we're talkin about here... blech. Same kinda guys that complain about girl-girl content within a harem and call it NTR. It ain't. We really need some kinda catchy, descriptive label for "fans" like that, but fer now I guess we'll jsut stick with the nice, safe "snowflake." Best I got rn lol....In this case, the only one I can even remotely understand anyone wanting to reject is River (cause, ya know...), but even with her I still went half-speed ahead. I'll wait til after she gets her wish before going ham on her ofc, but I'm not mean enough to reject her outright. I jsut think it sucks that those stupid snowflakes can make enough noise to make an author like Vic mess up everyone else's immersion jsut to shut them up. Silly snowflakes, grow a pair already...

WCA is far from trash. Also, Eri looks adorable. I did see her in the Discord (WHY did I not join there a long time ago...) but for some reason I hadn't grabbed the image yet. So thanks for posting it here I think she's still my favorite Riftkey character hehe.

I actually considered WCA collectibles, but I didn't have any faith that anyone would want merch from what is essentially an Adult genre game. Like, what happens when someone asks you where Nook is from? "Yeah there's this porn game I play, erm..." lol
So I didn't end up making them. But, well, the D&D campaign I've been DMing for the past 2 years (the world itself I've been running for 5) ends next week, and I won't be DMing a streamed campaign again until probably August. So I will have the time and energy to put into designing collectibles, if there's interest.

The Next Few Updates + Galka Voicemail in Discord!
Hello, Lewdies and Gentlepervs,
Been a hell of a month. Nearly lost my cat to a massive UTI and found out she's diabetic, so she' s on insulin now. And I just recovered from perhaps the worst flu I've had since my first round with Covid. Now that I'm up and running again, I wanted to share my plans for the next two updates with you.
Season 2 Episode 2 will be concluding with the next update. As we're kind of alternating between main story focus and side story focus, I have a list of 9 characters I'm hoping to include a scene for in this update. So if I'm counting correctly 4 to 5 main story scenes and 9 side story scenes.
The update following that should have something more like 4 side story scenes and the main story segment should span the entirety of Season 2 Episode 3, which is currently something like 15 whole scenes spanning two in-game days. This one might take a little longer to do and do correctly, but this is a chunk of the story that I kinda want to deliver all in one go.
I will likely do the same with Season 2 Episode 4, and there will be no free time in this update, all main story. You should regain Free Time in Season 2 Episode 5, and I plan to tie up one of the antagonist arcs during this episode.
