So, if I'm reading everything correctly, the Counselor and Ambassador arcs have been canceled? That is disappointing.
I wouldn't say outright canceled. The current description on F95 does not match the description on Itch. The original description was written years ago, before I realized just how massive that undertaking would be. It's taken me 4 years to get to the point where I'm 4 episodes away from getting 2 story arcs done. Given that we end up with releases every 2 to 4 months, and we alternate Side Story releases with Main Story releases, it could easily be another year before Season 2 (Security arc) is complete.

I made some really bad design choices in the beginning, and in the name of consistency, I didn't change them. Namely, doing fully rendered scenes shot-by-shot, rather than using sprites for some of the less important dialogue and mixing in full renders at key points. I feel it would be jarring to swap to that all of the sudden in the middle of the game, so I kept going the way I started.

Bearing that in mind, 2 story arcs will mean nearly 5 years of dev time. To do another 2 story arcs on top of that... that's another 5 years. And I didn't know that when I planned those arcs. I want to finish this story and start other projects. I want to get to the point where we have complete Side Stories with chapter selects at the end of them for each girl.

Now, that's not to say the Counselor or Ambassador arcs can't happen. Counselor may not, as I think that would be better for a separate project, but the team has dreamed up a possibility for the Ambassador arc as a collection of expansions, one world at a time. The Goblin world, the Orc world, the Elven world, etc. We're gonna keep our ears open after the Security arc is complete to see if there's demand for more WCA beyond the finishing of each girl's Side Story. If there is, and we do expansions, that's when the stylistic change will hit, mixing in sprites with full renders. Because as it stands now, painstakingly shooting every scene's renders, 30 to 60 renders per single scene... I'm burning out. Hard. At this point, I'm just trying to hold on until I can finish the Security arc. June will be 4 years WCA has been available to the public. And as much as I adore it, I want to finish it and move on to more story ideas I've had. I want to take what I've learned from the creation of WCA and apply it to a new project for a smoother, potentially better experience.

I'm sorry if that's disappointing, but that's how I feel. It's a first project, and first projects aren't the greatest, mostly because you really see the hiccups and the missteps in the beginning as the creator is learning their craft. I think back to the first 4 books I wrote, before I even came up with the idea for The Riftkey Chronicles series. They were hot garbage. And even the first book of The Riftkey Chronicles got 7 rewrites before I was really happy with it. I can't really do that with WCA. On one hand, ya get hate for the obvious missteps. On the other hand, ya get hate when you go back and fix your mistakes. And it really wears ya down. I refuse to abandon the project, though. I want to see it through and give the story a good ending, then work on filling out all the Side Stories and DLCs. From there, I want to start a much shorter project like Goblin Roommates that I can finish within a year or two. Something much more manageable. And once I have that new style down, that's when I'll be open to potentially doing endgame expansions where Aurum becomes an ambassador at the Nexus Academy in WCA and visits other worlds.

Anyways, that was long-winded as hell. But that's where I'm at. I hope that makes sense.

[PROGRESS REPORT/PINUP PACK] Easter Mini Pinup Pack by Necro

Hey, all! Bit of a dual post here. First, progress report on 1.4.5.0:

image_2025-04-21_005748779.png

Slow but steady. We've had some adjustments in the team as well. Ischwhit has left the team, and we wish him luck, as he's taken over the main development of Stray Incubus. We've got a couple of other people interested in learning the posing and shooting process, so we're exploring those avenues as we work.

On the subject of WCA, though, this patch is nearly done. Unfortunately, the hardest part is yet to come. There are at least 2 H-scenes to shoot, potentially 3, and each of those typically takes me around 4 hours on the low end. Couple that with how much trouble Blossom's story has been giving us, and this stretch of the road has been bumpy, to say the least. Still, we'll be happy to finally have this next content drop out.

"BUT WAIT THE TITLE SAYS PINUP PACK TOO"

Ah, yes. So you know how that last "Sexy Spring" pack ended up containing 5 April Fools shots? Well, Necro wanted to make up for my trolling, so he put out a 5-shot Easter Mini pack with 10 of the girls in dual poses. That'll be attached at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!

That's it for now. Back to the grindstone for me.

[RELEASE] 1.4.5.0 - To Release or Not To Release

I love Blossom to death but she's a pain in the ass. Here's where we are:

1745581863353.png

AS YOU CAN SEE, this build is ready for release... all but Blossom's last two scenes. And I hate to say it, but I'm stuck on her. This happens more often than you'd think, but every idea we come up with, my gut feeling tells me just isn't quite right. And I don't write an idea until it feels right.

So the question is, do I just say fuck it and release 1.4.5.0 as-is, without Blossom's D and E scenes? Or do I continue to fight with her stubborn ass?

I asked the team, and they said release it. So that's what we're doing. We'll finish the two scenes that should have been in this build when inspiration strikes. For now...

RELEASE SCHEDULE:

  • April 25th (Now): T5/T4 Supporters (found at , , and now for $25 if you want instant access)
  • May 2nd: T3 Supporters ($10)
  • May 9th: T2 Supporters ($5)
  • May 13th: T1 Supporters ($2)
  • May 16th: PUBLIC (Free)
IN THE WORKS:

  • Season 2 Episode 5 coming in patch 1.5.0.0
  • Oops! All Goblins! Pandora's Box Pack with music video (HMV) for T4 Supporters and up
  • Senia DLC v0.7 update
  • Fantasies Collection v0.6 update
  • Ember (Whimsy) Glamour Set
  • New FREE TO PUBLIC DLC character (experimenting with alternate shooting style)
CHANGELOG:

1.4.5.0 - Side Story Content Update

  • Blossom scene count increased to 3
  • Gillie scene count increased to 5
  • Jade scene count increased to 5
  • Princess Tilai scene count increased to 5
  • DLC Compatibility change (Senia will be updated soon)
  • Added hover sounds to the Character Book which announce the characters' names when you hover over them
  • Adjusted alt text for self-voicing mode to fix issues with Aoibheann's name pronunciation
  • Adjusted alt text for self-voicing mode to partially fix issues with text conversations (name repetition)
NOTE: Currently, the self-voicing in text conversations will skip the first line of the girl you're talking to when the conversation initiates or when the speaker swaps back from Aurum to the girl. Researching how to fix this, but it's better than just hearing the girl's name 15 times before each text message.
  • Various tweaks to several main story and side story scenes
  • Removed Episode 4 Preview button from free time after Season 2 Episode 3

May 2025 Calendar with Birthdays and 4K Render

May 2025 Calendar Watermarked.png

Alright, you know the drill! Here's our May calendar! Unwatermarked version and 4K render available at the support links below!

From left to right:
Eshtel (Free Spirit)
Venrae (High Class)
Cecilia (Therapist)

Also, some news! I just finished editing the HMV for our next Pandora's Box pack, "Oops! All Goblins!" Necro did a fantastic spread of 10 shots that must have been absolute hell to pose and do the lighting for. For the HMV, I chose a song in Kazakh because the language sounds like what I'd imagine the Goblin language in this universe might sound like, something that seems a little rough, but has a strange sort of beauty for it. Look for that soon!

Get the unwatermarked version and 4K render used in the calendar here:

[PANDORA'S BOX] Pack 2 - Oops! All Goblins! and End of Exclusivity
Hey, all!

Over the past couple of months, we've heard some feedback from you all regarding our ultra-spicy Pandora's Box packs. For those of you who don't recognize this name, Pandora's Box packs are similar to our Pinup Packs, but MUCH spicier. They're typically 10 high res shots with excellent lighting plus a full length HMV (Hentai Music Video).

Up until recently, we've only offered Pandora's Box to our T4 Supporters and up, with no way for anyone else to get their hands on them aside from subscribing at $25 a month. Several people expressed that they'd like these packs to be more accessible to people not on a T4 subscription, and we came up with a solution.

We've released or original Pandora's Box 1: Charlie alongside our brand new Pandora's Box 2: Oops! All Goblins! in the Patreon shop! Necro puts a massive amount of effort into the 10 shots in each pack, and I handle the animation and video editing for the HMV, which is no small feat. As of today, T3 SUPPORTERS AND ABOVE will be able to get these packs for free from the Patreon shop. For everyone else, they're priced at $5 per pack. So not only does T3 get a brand new benefit that was previously only for T4 and up, but now everyone can get their hands on the specific packs they're interested in and get the exact content they're looking for. That way, say you're only interested in the Goblins pack. You don't have to spend the $10 to join T3 to get it when you can just buy it for $5. But we DO plan to keep adding more Pandora's Box packs, so that T3 signup getting you ALL Pandora's Box packs will eventually be an absolute STEAL.

You can find these packs here:

Sadly, SubscribeStar does not have a shop like Patreon. So if you're signed up on SubscribeStar at T3 or above and you want the packs, message me either on SubscribeStar or Discord and I'll see about getting them to you.

That's it for now! Enjoy the goblins!

[ACCESS/PROGRESS REPORT] When It Rains, It Pours

Hey, all.

ACCESS: Couple of days ago, 1.4.5.0 went live for T2 Supporters and is down to T1 now for $2. May 16th, it'll be available for free to the public.

If you'd like to support the development of WCA and get extra bonuses like the Pandora's Box packs (with animated HMVs), you can do so at and . This support helps us spend less time at our jobs and more on the game, and we're grateful for everyone who's doing so.

PROGRESS REPORT: 1.5.0.0 is going to be massive. A total of 70 scenes, which is 288 individual tasks. And that's not counting setting up scene cards and creating new models for positions we need to fill in the story. That being said, we got a head start on it, and have been making great progress. Here's where we're at:

image_2025-05-12_044346140.png

72/288 tasks done. We decided that, because of all of the stuff happening in this episode and the sheer amount of Free Time opportunities it has, we needed to include some Side Story scenes in it. So in addition to the Main Story scenes, there will be around 10 Side Story scenes included with the episode. Lot of stuff people have been asking for is happening in this episode, including Nook, River, Cecilia and Eshtel. So it's no coincidence that we also picked those four for the Side Story update 1.5.5.0 that'll be coming after this next one.

Again, thank you all for sticking with us.

Finally played through 1.4.5.0 and just like always am awed by the impressive writing. Each character has their own unique quirks and fun to experience which is certainly is not an easy thing to do especially with so many characters in the cast but still the execution has been so point by the team here, that is one of the games that replay again and again from starting. Hence happy to support the creator, the work they are doing is amazing!

Thanks for reading Dev, best wishes for ahead:)

[PUBLIC RELEASE] 1.4.5.0 Hits Public!

It's the day you've been waiting for. We've had a nice handful of signups on Patreon and SubscribeStar over the past week, so 1.4.5.0 is now free to play for everyone, early!

Download link:

Here's what's new (patch notes):

  • Blossom's total scene count raised to 3
  • Gillie's total scene count raised to 5
  • Jade's total scene count raised to 5 (includes H-scene)
  • Princess Tilai's total scene count raised to 5 (includes H-scene)
  • Fantasies Collection Add-on updated with new H-scenes
  • Various typo fixes
  • Massive shortening of disclaimer when starting a new game
  • Slight edits to a few scenes in Season 1
  • DLC compatibility framework adjustments
This one took a lot out of us. Blossom in particular was being a little shit, and we need a little more time to really nail down how we want her story to go.

I recently completely binged Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and it hit me so hard. I'm so used to being the one teaching people how to write, with the 25 years of writing experience, 2 published books, blah, blah, blah... that it was... almost refreshing to be completely blown out of the water and humbled by another piece of writing. And even that's kind of an understatement. The writers for that game make me look STUPID by comparison. It's exciting because I get to learn again. The story in that game is phenomenal, and there are several narrative techniques I've picked up from it that I want to practice with in order to deliver better story experiences, and I fully intend to make use of the things I learned in the coming episodes and side stories of WCA.

Anyways, enjoy the build, and we're hard at work on Season 2 Episode 5 :)

Holy crap. Reading through some of these posts is like wading through a sewer full of... well, crap. So, trying to figure out anything is like searching for a needle in a haystack. :ROFLMAO:

I'll just give this a go and see for myself, whether it's for me or not.
