Sure, it's very unlikely they will ever run across you. OTOH there's a Pokemon based porn thing that was on here a number of years back that got found out and shut down. The only saving grace with porn games is that they don't have content scanning bots plying the boards looking for marks to grift like on Twitch or Youtube.

They aren't going to come after you. At the very worst, they will send a cease and desist notice. They'll be in the wrong, legally, but they aren't going to sue right out the gate over the mention of their trade name. That isn't how it works, and they have to pay their lawyers as well.

I've spoken to my lawyer (who specializes in trademark and copyright) about it already. It's fine to say the word "Google" in a work of fiction.

Yeah, fucking of course it was shut down, because it was doing the exact things you can't do with trademarks you don't own. I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not going to give an extensive rundown on this, but you're comparing two vastly different things: the mention of a product in text vs. the use of trademarks without permission and using them in a manner that was specifically defamatory. The former is considered fair use under U.S. law. The latter absolutely is not. (Despite the prevailing myth that porn "parodies" are protected, they are generally considered not to be.)

As long as devs don't try to depict a trademarked image or defame a brand (such as suggesting that a real-world corporation has engaged in illegal activity), they're fine to say the name of a product in their game. No one is going to sue them. It's incredibly unlikely anyone will even bother to issue a C&D.

Again, I am not a lawyer, so if you have concerns you should speak with one. However, everything I've said here can easily be looked up online, including the specific laws governing fair use.

Has anyone actually beat the repeller mini-game? When roughly 3 projectiles come at the same time it feels impossible to hit enter 3 times fast enough within that small time window. Initially I thought timing the enter button would repell all three, but later found you have to hit enter individually for each ball. Also it feels like sometimes, the ball is touching the box but hitting enter doesn't repell it and the ball just goes right through. I feel like there are times when the ball is still within the hitbox, but the input just doesn't count. It's like the hit box is much smaller than what's being shown on the screen and the killbox comes too early.

Yes, I know you can skip it, but the point of a mini-game is that it should be beatable. And in it's current state it feels impossible to beat.

Only if you're presenting the brand in a manner that 1. it isn't supposed to be used for or 2. could defame the brand in some way. Mentioning a brand is not enough to warrant a lawsuit. Using their trademarks or showing their map engine is.
Mentioning it alone is associating yourself with it. It's been done before. -_- Used to be you didn't need 30s max video-clips for educational purposes seen by the masses, now...ugh. Copyright has gone way too far.

No, it isn't. Google "nominative fair use trademark" (without the quotes).

Mentioning a product by name is fair use as long as you aren't suggesting that the product is a sponsor and not defaming the product or company. It's that simple. Again, if you have concerns about using a trademarked name in your own work, speak with a lawyer.

Fair use is fucked these days and yes, simply naming a product can associate it with you and any company can claim damages “I don't wanna be associated with this asshole”, this shit has been through the wringer before 1940s-1950s. You're wrong. *unwatch, not wasting any more time, posted unlocker, done*

Multiverse??!!!!
No. It's more like one universe consisting of seven realms (or if you prefer dimensions), each one being a subset of a single reality.
Time progress at the same speed, gravity remains consistent, and the Laws of Physics are compatible.

Matter from a Parallel Universe or Another Multiverse would not necessarily be able to exist in ours for a prolonged period of time. Some matter from a Parallel Universe could react to ours in such a way that the word catastrophic may not even begin to describe it.

To be fair, sometimes it is pretty confusing trying to keep it all straight.
