A separate thought I had while reading this would simply be a game where the premise was being stuck in a time loop maybe a day cycle or even a few days and allowing the player to work towards escaping the loop or simply not and doing whatever you want within the time frame. I mean cucking yourself is all fine and good i guess, but I think just generally a game where you are stuck in a time loop sort of like the movie groundhog day is a simple concept but opens up a world of freedom on what to do with your infinite amount of time.

I like that game and haven't really seen to many other games like it. I think the ground hog day scenario is kind of a special case as well because there is literally no consequence to doing something bad that you otherwise wouldn't do. I can have my cake and eat it too because I know tomorrow I'll just wake up again and it never happened except in my memory. In that type of scenario there are all sorts of things I might try that I would otherwise never do. Even things like suicide missions or whatever with guaranteed bad outcomes might be something you would want to try just for some part of that experience you find appealing.

In pretty much any other situation you don't get a do over like that. Anything significant you do has actual consequences. You might be able to apologize for something or make up for it somehow but you can't literally take it back.
