after u press Z, a small cutscene plays, then after, you can't press A OR D, nor move at all because the dialogue text box pops up and you can't move.

I finished both (the outdated alpha build and the demo).

In the case somebody is curious, if you collect all orbs in the first level, you get to unlock a door in the beetle room. In that room, you get to see an artwork by "Aster Effect" of DeviantArt.com.

Edit: If you collect all orbs in the second level (boss chase) and never lose, you get to collect Mau's memory near the end.

To be fair, I don't think this is necessarily a scam; Each re-attempt does seem to have been different and expanded mechanics and possibilities, and I can kinda see why they've done what they've done. I do think that it's incredibly bad planning/management/etc to keep doing this though, sure, but at the same time, I don't even think this is the worse project that I've seen do this. Definitely wouldn't fund a developer who was pulling this shit but I also don't know what their patreon-only discussions were like.

Having interacted with the Dev on various Discords...
1. The effort is genuine
2. A lot of time and money *has* been spent on trying to make this game
3. I have still blocked him, because there's nothing more annoying than a project that keeps going back to square 1 as many times as this and there's only so much slow hopping I can tolerate anyway.
