I've never done a game of this sort myself, so I honestly have no clue as to the extent of asset searching you have to go through in general or what's normal for it. So not like I can argue the point. xD

I can certainly imagine it'd be quite the enormous amount of work to find the perfect assets for every moment. I've always felt like the writing, story and dialogue, would be the easy part!

To be honest even if I tryharded downloadig like 250Go of met art galleries and similar, I have like 2-5 extra galleries for all the girlz, but it doesn't fit or should require solid storytelling skills to make it work as events ><
I'll implement domething like a photo club in the school because it can use those assets, but for some other features I'm kinda stuck or don't have the writting skillz to make it work

I totally agree with your two posts, the real porn part of the game is part of the appeal of the current build (which has lead me to appreciating the WTM mod over the original game. The OG makes the girls interchangeable, and hard to remember, because all the gifs/vids are universal.)

In regards to sourcing the material, as someone who has done ~20 girls now, I'd say once you get the hang of it, it's about ~20 minutes per girl (to find images that are good enough quality, and to search through Pornhub's gifs tabs to find something that fits the different tags for the vids). I also learned in the process that gifs sourced through redgifs don't function in the game (probably because they're too big file size? even though they can be save as .webm files) and that cost me a bunch of great easy source material.

It's not a bad process, you're working while looking at porn, who can complain about that? However, if I was to re-do it, I probably would've spent more time on downloading source videos and directly clipping things instead of having to trust Pornhub users or go through the Pornhub gif generator process.

I could easily find school girl vids and make girls in the game based on that instead of the other way around (pick a girl I like, then source material) but that sort of defeats the purpose of watching porn you're interested in.

Quick question, how easy would it be for me to add a blowjob/fuck face tag in the events (probably where you access facials)? I managed to get "lickass" pulling custom vids for the girls through trial and error, just not sure if adding events in the exam is an extensive process?

Having base line girls ready is easy. Events will be doable once you decide on the stats.

And my 2 cents on Daz models: the original game decided to move to that, hence me being here. If this game will also be Daz... please make sure we can still add real girls. There are way enough Daz games around, but none with this theme with real girls.

I'm not super picky about gifs and vids being off the model I'm interacting with. The versatility provided by having some stuff be universal is way too good for content crunch. Both for the sake of file size and for the sake of time efficiency.
But there's also the part of real porn assets being restricted like what was mentioned by the Dev earlier, unlike other avenues like Daz, so this'd be exactly the kinda thing you'd shortcut for the sake of asset access.

There's obviously grades of how blatant you wanna be about it, but something like having close-up creampies be universal isn't that bad. There's tons of face-less fuck gifs out there as well. So you can do quite a lot with "quick-fire" gifs, like the ones used during exams, without using faces of other actresses.
Then perhaps save the vids and assets that specifically feature the actress for events pertaining to that character, if the intent is to make each one a individual, rather than randomly generated. Make those vids special treats, rather than the only content.
I'd personally find that a more than fine compromise. But this is obviously all up to taste and preference. And, ultimately, Dev decision! ^^

You're definitely right that faceless gifs is better than nothing.

I will say that I could've gotten more clips, and better ones too, if Pornhub and Pornhub gifs weren't completely lacking in quality. Almost every vid in the 17 girl file I uploaded is from Pornhub Gifs, but I could've had twice the material if making a gif and having it processed (and findable after the fact) was just easier. Not to mention how little, relatively speaking, professional content Pornhub has.

It's unfortunate as I could've had (using your example) creampie's for August Ames, Mandy Muse, Dillion Harper, etc. But I would've to go out of my way to make the gifs myself and wait for the processing.

The main issue is that I sadly can't call those models and force them to do photoshoots that will fit the game, where as with 'homemade' render/drawings, you can
I read a lot of ideas and features there but just can't find the assets to make it work.
I still thing I'll keep the real porn version as a "legacy" version, less often updated, if someone as inpiration for events it will be nice

To be fair because the game is moddable and adaptable if people want to make community packs with real porn then they'd be able to fine - so it doesn't really remove the option. There's plenty of games on this website that offer that type of option and it works great for them. If it makes it easier for you to develop the game via daz / whatever and the option for people via modding is still there then it's a no brainer imo

I'm editing some bodypics and found that the aspect ratio in the "HOW TO ADD NEW GIRLS" guide for ass and boobs are wrong. In my opinion it should be 1.76:1 (1.75:1) for the boob pics and 2:1 for the ass pics. And not the other way around.
At least that's what it looks like when I look at it in game. I have shown it in the following picture.
