If yer talking about the part the power gets cut right before you go outside where she gets snappy trying to stop you she isjust scared so she goes all mamma bear on you on instinct which I think is an entirely normal reaction from a terrified mother regardless of how old yer kid is. Your childhood has no real bearing on the life of the MC or how azel should act so I think you might be self inserting a bit too deeply is all.

Are you talking about how she thinks he is doing too much and needs to tell people no or was this when she tried to stop him from going outside? I just want to make sure I understand what you are talking about first before I figure out how to respond.

LocoGringo78 I'm deeply sorry for your loss. As someone who has been in the same situation quite recently, I understand your pain and sorrow. I've offered it before, but if you ever feel the need to talk to someone you know how to reach me.
I also thank you for opening up about your situation, I believe being able to talk about it with your friends and pervy family is a huge part of the healing process. I would know, having this thread as my happy place and my safe zone was a tremendous comfort for me in my darkest days.
Back to the topic at hand, what I'm most looking forward to:
-Meeting the team and thanking them for everything they did that night. Not just Ayden and Skye, but Lee, Mackey and Dubaku as well. Maybe get some other perspectives on what exactly went down after MC left the bowling room.
-Meeting Margaret. I hope this will confirm my suspicion she is the third member of Hearts for Hope. And for all the Stacy fans out there, I hope she will give MC her blessing to actively woo Stacy.

i wonder..if you name MC Jacob...will that have any effect on the story?like lines cut off ...or mentioning that he wasn't comfortable changing his name...or Azel didn't want to take that away from him...or something that...
EDIT: one more thing that....makes me wonder a bit...maybe I'm overreading it ...or something like that...

I think that is pretty normal over all for many of us, we play games for the stories and because we feel some connection to the characters. Else we might as well go for fast porn movies, pics or whatever, but still erotic stories have been part of the net just as much as movies and that on a very visual medium as computers are overall.
Now that does not mean stories have to be slow or serious or full of drama, just they do need to be able to form the connection with players.

Don't be. Just go back, edit your post and at the very least enclose the block of images with spoiler tags adding parts of your text as you see fit (like the part after 'MC' in the first line or the last lines up until 'mates', for instance – though you can always

Ok so I was playing through 8.1 again looking for other clues (yes I look at everything in the background for clues hidden, yes I know I need a life but I enjoy doing this). I noticed there is writing on the wall in Skye's cell, but I can't quite figure out what it says. Looks like it might be another wall joke but I can't tell for sure.
Anyways the main reason I was doing the play back is to try to figure out what Damien did inside the bowling alley. As far as I can tell Skye says he tried to stop Ayden from going outside, but also indicated that the staff was also trying to keep them inside as well. Now from what I can tell all they tried to do was stop people from going outside, I don't see anywhere that violence was taken on Damien's part. So I can't tell if he was trying to protect them or Ryker. Sorry I should just leave this one alone since I feel like I am the only one trying to defend Damien's actions (really only so we have a team with players that can play, and not have to support a bench of Marcus type players {who should be added to the team as a favor to his dad})
Also I am determined to not give up on him now until he is proven to be the asshole everyone else here makes him out to be. Yes I am also like this in real life with my friends and other people as well. I always give people the benefit to prove they are good people that sometimes make mistakes or are in too deep and not sure how to ask for help. Yes I have been burned a few time by doing that, but also kept some good friend that were painted in a bad picture too.
