Do you guys think Ryker wanted to see Charles because he actually cares for him or he had ulterior motives? I'd like to believe the former and after hella therapy and some time way he could be a functioning member of society.

As for talking to the press I did all 3 times, I wasn't sure about the time at the police station but after I heard what MC had to say I stuck with it.

I already gave my opinion and breakdown of the scene, but yes I agree with the first option.

Prior to the update i would have said Ryker only looks out for Ryker.
Though right now i'm very much in the don't know camp. I'm more suspect of Katie than Ryker but that's because Ryker seems much more binary in his actions thus far. If i'm wrong i'll gladly accept seeing more to Ryker than him being a tool.

I'm not losing a debate. It's cute that you think that but it's even more telling that you cannot put together a simple conclusion from what the game has already shown us.

If Damien acted out he'd be out of college without the ability to help pay for his mother's needs.

The man is being blackmailed, now i'm not sure you get the meaning of the word but it helps if you do. He's not in control of the situations he's in. He has very limited choices all of which revolve around his mother literally living or dying. Do you know how much pressure that puts on a person ?

Unlike the MC who has Rachel as a fixer to help him get out from under the thumb of Ryker, Damien has no one. At least not yet.

He could stop adding and abiding a criminal by openly emit to being gay plus everything he's done for Ryker's criminal agenda to the police, press, & University Board or whoever accredits WVM.

Then Damien could use this opportunity/publicity/sympathy by doing the right thing to seek help with aid/activists/charity groups to pay for treatments his mother needs because who truly believes that helping a Sociopath &/or Narcissist (AKA Ryker) will keep his promise or find a new/better minion to replace him due to Ryker deciding Damien becoming a liability by not joining in the fight physically on his behalf or telling the mc to run.

Side Note people do have a choice if being blackmailed to turn in the blackmailer instead of becoming a disposable bitch. If you do something expect someone to know about it and own whatever it is or never do anything that can be used to control you if your a coward of consequences.

A few theories I have going forward. Some are fairly obvious, some are a little more out there.

1. Stacy is the MC's cousin. He remembers her as a child but since he was young he confused her for his sister. Stacy remembers him as well but has been told she never had a brother. When Wendy and Stacy's mom/grandmother meet the shit will hit the fan.

2. They are setting up a Charles redemption arc. Belle mentions Charles was different before Katie and Ryker came around. Katie is a bit weird, but seems to be on the good side. Ryker played on Charles' inner Id and helped push Charles into his current dick persona.

3. Harper will forget all about that pesky student/teacher situation fairly soon, especially given the events of Day 7. Sleeping with him will cure her night terrors.

4. Ryker, Kenji will be kicked out of WVM. Damien is a question mark but will probably go too. Hopefully they are going to jail once they are discharged from the hospital.

5. The MC's dad was either responsible for Katie and Ryker's parents death, or their parents were responsible for his death. Ryker's hate for the MC has to come from somewhere and it isn't from trying to fix a college basketball season.

6. Azel and Harper will become more than friends. That one is more of a wish because they work so well with each other.

And finally

7. Jamie and Shauna will make it an official full love triangle. After their accidental kiss, they have finally crossed that line they were too scared to cross.

I really wish people would learn the difference between what he could do and what he did do.
I've never once said he couldn't do something else. I said he did what he could given his situation there's a big difference.

I've been doing that. Unfortunately we have a hive mind of people who seemingly lack any sort of empathy for a character becasue they personally feel slighted by it.

Also, for the 9000th time today. If you choose to ignore the fact that Damien told your character to get out and don't see that as being helpful that's because you're just as clouded in judgement as he was when he accepted Ryker's help.

Okay.... Phew! Finally got through the whole game. Since I'd lost my saves I needed to replay the entire thing and delayed until now.

So thoughts...

I have mixed feelings... I really like everything up until the end of day 7, it felt like BD turned the drama knob to eleven... Just feels like too much.

I guess the MC doesn't need to worry about playing sports any time soon... Sneaky way to keep from having to show a charity bowling game or a basketball game. LOL
I don't see Belle as someone to trust considering she couldn't control Ryker at all, same with Charles, etc
Even if we could that doesn't stop everyone from pressing charges and going after the MC as hard as possible.


Anyway... Love the game, love the girls, love that Braindrop is back at it. Just not sure I am going to be able to play this without peering between my fingers as I do.

God damn, what a day the mc has.
Dont really remember the full day 7 but holy hell, imagine all that stuff happening all in 1 day. I mean like, giving little attention to every girl in his harem is one thing, it is a porn game after all
but on top of that he has to move house for i dont even know how many times he moves house in 1 week then in that house lives a hunted real princess from different part of the world and have i mention that he also meet his long lost sister that day too.
And also still in the same day, at night he got beat up as hell by the dude who's been threatening him and by his teammate who hates his guts and damien i dont even know whose side hes on anymore. That led him to being held in custody by the police and one of the police still tryna attack him in the cell holy shit man

Is he stopping them from beating up anyone? Did he stop Gorg? Ryker? Did he punch anyone and join the MC's side in the fight?

No, he told the MC to leave. An enemy can warn another combatant to leave. That doesn't make them an ally.

That said, I do think Damien tried to the best of his abilities to avoid helping in the conflict but that doesn't make him a trustworthy person/friend.

Just so you know I'm with you there, also the fact that Damien staid out of the fight while it would be smarter of him to help Ryker considering his circumstances.

edit: It doesn't mean I trust Damien, as he still has to change sides and prove himself.

You guys tend to ignore that and keep saying my points are invalid because i can't see Damiens flaws, that I'm somehow a horrible person for noticing and calling these out. So if you want to stick to the letting the horse die, don't respond Also don't personally target me for correcting the record people have on Damien which is horribly misguided and devoid of facts.
