Careful now, golden bone daddy is making moves too, maybe this time it won't be just a rat in the ribcage.

More likely when Slaanesh makes more demands of this particular avatar and his favor of hersey.

Which for BD's sake I do hope is after the honeymoon and when he is well rested.
Have been praying and sacrificed to the Gods and they have all(exept Tzeentch, could not get a stright answer out of him  ) ageed that the update will come some time after the honeymoon.

After reading the updated mini-FAQ, I can honestly say I pretty much agree with all the choices Braindrop has made with the story. No sexual/romantic relationships with family members (even surrogate family members, like Azel), or with any school staff. Honestly, I also hope that includes Harp - the dynamic between her and MC is perfect as it is, there's no need to clutter it with romance. The night of the school basement party, when bringing Natalie home, and MC saw Harp having nightmares, she felt more like a close friend to MC in that moment (nowhere near dating material) - MC will be there for her as a friend or a surrogate brother for her.

Honestly, I already play a lot of games with incest-type relationships (or the possibility of them, either built-in or by applying a patch/mod), and WVM is a refreshing break between those type of games. Not all games *have* to have this possibility.

Also, I've so far only played the loyalty route from the walkthrough, so Rachael's clients haven't really showed up in my timeline (I'm not sure if they will appear "earlier" if I play the cheating route, though).

In any case, with a tentatively updated release date of June 24th, I'll remain tense in anticipation of that date. If he misses that date, too - well, I suppose we just have to wait a little longer, but based on the Patreon updates that have been reposted in this thread, it's very close to being finished (for now, BD just has to make sure he's able to switch off and rest his brain a little, and enjoy some time together with his new wife).

School staff will eventually be able to be included in the harem

Maybe to me it seems more out there, because I didn‘t view it from a story perspective but a development perspective. The need to move out of the second house does make sense, to get out of the implications from Charles that would entail. But suddenly it‘s perfectly okay for someone else to stay there (Kimmy and apparently her whole family). Now this isn‘t a problem anyway as Charles and Ryker are out of the picture. Maybe it‘s also because I‘m not fully buying the „Superstar newcomer will save this College“ scenario. I can‘t really imagine that the MC is treated the way he is in a real world scenario. But then again, I‘m not american and maybe your Colleges treat these people actually like gods and throw houses at them? I don’t know. To me it just feels like BD used that empty house in the first few renders and then found a better house asset later he really wanted to use. It was in the early days of development after all. Although how the MC is treated has been discussed before and I don‘t want to open up the discussion about how close to reality the game should or shouldn‘t be.

That part where he moves Kimmy and her family in the house he can't live anymore because he's scared of what Charles could do to him does indeed makes no sense. At least move them back in the original green house owned by the school where they were, not Charles drugs den. And 1st of all, what does Kimmy's family do? They don't have a house or jobs and depend on her for survival? And also, will they have to return to wherever they were for the past (days, weeks, months??), in (most likely one), or two game days when my need to have Kimmy move in my house becomes too big?

I think Kimmy moved her family into the green house, because she thought it would be lasting as long as she is enrolled. When she was forced to move out her family had to move to a motel. I think she Kimmy herself mentions that. Also one of the reasons why she is initially pissed at the Mc. I don‘t think her family is out of jobs, but it‘s difficult to find a suitable living space on such a short notice.

I don't know where you are from, but college sport in the USA is completely different.

I'm French, when I got interested in football (US), I got a glimpse of what university sport is in the USA.

That's crazy. This generates a mountain of money that goes to universities because the university players are not paid. Basketball, football (US), and more, it is broadcast on TV, with large amounts of broadcasting rights. College stadiums are huge (many are the size of pro team soccer stadiums in Europe). There is a lot of merchandasing (jersey, ect ...).

The players do not touch a cent on the millions that it generates. I don't know enough about the subject to know if a college is allowed to lend a house or a car, but that would not surprise me.

All that to say that the MC, it is normal that he is treated like that. Especially since the university of the game, it is rather a university of second zone, therefore unexpected for it to recruit a player of her level.

So just kinda a point of clean up on this.
Student housing is a thing and premire athletes in some of the best schools absolutely get favors on the order of that. Giving a Car however absolutely violates NCAA rules and regulations, that said if someone just happens to find a car and keys with their name on it...It generally goes overlooked.

The revenue generation is indeed crazy and the training facilities for rivals .

Thankfully, the pay issue is and the regulations around it are too with some schools allowing the athlete's to profit off their play and likeness.

The experience I have about US sports comes from movies and I always expected it to be over the top. Guess it‘s not? I seem to lack a sense of scale, regarding how big sport is celebrated there. I can accept the scenario in the game, no problem. I have looked past stories that seemed far more unrealistic to me  But I‘m not here to poke holes into a perfectly fine story. Just passing the time until the update comes around.

TBF I don't think the car was GIVEN to MC, but rather he was allowed the use of it, which I think would skirt the rules.

That's kinda why i put if someone just kinda left you the keys too it no one's really gonna do anything.
You just can't have it be a gift under NCAA regulations. Even petty gifts like Candy are technically against the regulations for a D1 and D2 athlete.

I love that people are trying to explain realism in a harem porn game set in the future.
I mean...I could always not, but surprisingly the least reality breaking thing in the game is the setting. It's just harder for people to believe who haven't seen how absolutely crazy US college sports are.

To a non-American, the reality of college sport in the USA is incredible (in the literal sense of the word).

The harem part is totally unrealistic, while the rest is quite true to the truth. :ROFLMAO:

I appreciate that people are now having a discussion/debate about something like this, which is actually interesting, as opposed to to the same nonsense about incest and/or the update schedule.

That said, there are a lot of really bad takes here regarding the realism of MC's situation as a star athlete. I was a college athlete (baseball) at a mid-sized university, and later worked for a short time in a major D1 athletic department, so I have a decent amount of experience in this area. There is no way in hell that an athlete could get the sort of benefits that MC receives in the game without the NCAA coming down on the university with a vengeance. Yes, college athletes can be provided housing, but it is basically dorm housing. The athlete dorms are often slightly nicer than other dorms, but they are still dorms. They sure as hell aren't mansions with a dozen bedrooms and a pool. Similarly, college athletes absolutely cannot be provided with a car, even if it is a loan, as several people have suggested.

Here are a couple examples of things for which college basketball players have received lengthy suspensions from the NCAA:
1) A player was suspended six games because his mother, without the player's knowledge, took a loan from the player's former AAU coach (who had no affiliation with the university) totaling $4,500. The mom had severe health issues requiring extensive hospital bills, and the bank had foreclosed on the family's home. The mom had taken the loans, which she had paid back within weeks, to be able to keep her family off the streets. Even though the player, who was away at school, had no knowledge of any of this, he was still ruled ineligible.

2) A UNLV player was suspended for buying a used mattress and box spring from an assistant coach, and for using a moving truck provided by the coach to move the mattress.

3) Only 2 years ago, James Wiseman, who was arguably the top college player in the nation, was ruled ineligible by the NCAA for impermissible benefits his family had received his junior year of high school, when his coach paid for the Wiseman family's moving expenses, which allowed them to move so that he could attend a better school.

With all this said, MC, being the most hyped recruit in college basketball, would be under a microscope at WVM, and there is zero chance the school could have provided him a mansion and luxury vehicle without the NCAA banning him and/or the basketball team.
