After 30 minutes, he gave you a bread stick. He told you, "It's from the same dough."
Then he tells you that he'll give you the pizza, but it'll be in pieces.
It's nice... but you know at least he was honest...

So...considering the Harper mini story, and then the knowledge that we'll get an actual game update sometime soon?
I was playing The Cabin today and saw this...
And I laughed. Whatever kind of horror type murder elements happen in this game...it's forever going to be my headcanon that this is Harper's true backstory in WVM.

I'm glad I read the spoilers before playing. Usually I just download as fast as I can and play. This time I have no reason to play at all. If Harper tells her daughter she wishes she was never born, It doesn't fit the story up to this point unless Harper is going to loose her mind and have a mental breakdown which also wouldn't fit the story up to this point. So toss another one into the bin. Funny, I used to get upset when this happened now I'm numb to it and it doesn't even bother me anymore. Life rolls on and I'm gonna roll with it.

There could be many reasons the Dev has done what he has done.
DITLO could of been comisioned by a paying patron I dont know i'm not one of his patron's as I'm already supporting as many Dev's as I can afford but I would if I had more money.
Maybe he did it because he needed a break and so made this to take his mind of the main game.
He may of done it as an experiment.
Or to trial a technique so he dosen't effect the main game.
I don't know as I won't play yet it since I didn't request it.
Although I might once the main games done who knows.
He may even have done it to piss you lot off just for shit's and giggles for all I know.
All I really know is that its the Dev's game to make or not and he can do what ever the fuck he want's with it aslong as his patrons are happy with it.
Other Dev's make "what if" shite instead of completing their game's so what if he makes DITLO.
Personally I was glad he made something and hasn't just dissapeared like some Dev's have in the past
I will save my bitching for if the Dev never actually update's the main game and it gert abandoned without word like some.

Harper was on the verge of a breakdown when she was first introduced.
She'd never won a game, had attempts to kidnap her daughter and was on the verge of losing her job. She's been depressed since her first scene.
To say it doesn't fit is to ignore the whole story surrounding her.

She didn't say it in a mean and hateful way though, she was just imagining what her life had been like if she'd gone a different way.
She won't be the only parent, or person in general, to wonder what life had been like if they had taken different choices.
