The game as a whole, yeah. However, this specific update alone has been in the works since around this time last year and still isn't out. He was claiming it was almost done in April of last year saying the exhibition game was this big hurdle he had to overcome. Then at some point he had apparently decided to redo the whole thing and released bits of it towards the end of last year, but they were supposed to be a part of one big update that would have included the current update we're waiting on.

I meant the exhibition match, not the game as a whole. That exhibition match has been teased since 2020 :KEK:

The furniture/settings get a bit samey/odd but nothing is more jarring in this game than the fucking weird choice of PJs/house clothes the girls all end up wearing. It's like a weird multi-colored rainbow nunnery. Bunch of hot bodies and they're all dressed like Jesus is knocking in a few minutes. Bruh >.>

Keep in mind that this VN is a very long VN. I believe the last time I recall that BD was hoping to have this VN completed in 2024/2025 (there was an interview of BD back in 2019 or around that time). However it may seems to be extended additional 2+ years at least due to impact of COVID era (and other reasons). I believe BD may be able to complete this VN by the time we reach 2030.

You just now realized that Patreon is a nanny-site? The real villains are the companies that control the flow of money and force these sites to censor things, but Patreon has been this way for years now.

As I understand it, that's what he is going to do - just in the past which again makes sense with the added amount of days until we reach the present.

So if you believe in him he has a bottleneck in the rework that prevents him from continuing with that alongside the present updates, so he's going to focus on the rework temporarily. The girls not living there for a month before redecorating the house in itself is believable I think.

This confirms it, its time for me to move on. He clearly has no remaining interest in this VN. It was pretty obvious he had no idea where to go with the main story, which is why he kept adding more LIs to stall the main story, but he seems to have reached the point where he just doesn't care anymore and has realised adding more LIs will make it impossible for him to keep a track of.

I feel like he's gonna release a new VN this year which will take focus over this one. Kinda sad to finally unwatch this thread.

Yeah those screenshots show that the new house looks really awesome. BD has the talent to make really good renders and really good sets.

He absolutely has the skill to make amazing renders, I'm not convinced he has much or any writing skill though (what is the plot of WVM?), and his project management skills are currently non-existant.

One thing to note, this delay blog post is at least more honest. He seems this time to accept he has no excuse for delaying, rather than making an excuse up. Positive changes?

This game isn't going to be finished by 2030, I don't think Braindrop could finish this in his lifetime. Maybe he'll have his son inherit the project and pass it down the family line for the next century or so.

It takes Braindrop years to release a single update, he's been working on it for this long and we still haven't seen a basketball game. The one in the next update is just an exhibition game, not even a regular season game and there's usually like 20-30 regular season games in a collegiate season (not including tournament games). I'm sure he'll skip over some of it, but at this pace I don't think Braindrop could finish this by the end of the century.
