If only this would happen. This thread went from fun things like best li tournaments to toxic posts from trolls making personal attacks (with mod's blessings since they restored most of them). If only you all would get to the point of not caring and this thread could be about the vn again.

Criticizing a person and a developer are too separate things. Apparently, some people don't know how to separate the two.

Criticizing BD for his continuous excuses or promises is what most people are criticizing.

If you were a boss and had employees and one of your employees was coming in late, missing deadlines, or not showing up. The boss will take this into consideration. The boss will have a few choices. The boss fires the employee or reprimand the employee for their poor performance or suspend the employee until they get their act together.

If Braindrop did release an actual update instead of delaying it into oblivion people would talk about the game. But nope what do you want to talk about. Most of the content that could be talked about has been out for months and years so yeah.

Also if people just keep reporting because they see a post they don't like because people are saying pretty much the truth than why is this thread still open if only people that agree with one side of the argument are allowed to post?

I dont know if I understand this post correctly, especially the part with the upcoming 2k render release..

Lets do some quick math here:
If he re-rendered 75-80% in 7 days (its been 7 days since they announced the newest delay), it shouldnt take him longer than another 1,75-2,33 days to finish the rest of it.

Does that mean, that it could be out on Saturday/Sunday, or are they pushing it back to the beginning of March where they gonna "hit it hard"?

Obviously, you failed to connect the dots. BD is a developer. People criticizing his developmental skills is what is under scrutiny. I don't know BD in real life and would never attack him. Yet I can evaluate his developmental skills or lack of. When a developer makes promises again and again and fails to deliver on such promises. What do you expect people not to say?

You want to hear people praising BD for his lack of updates or his long stretch of excuses? Good job BD for promising to deliver 2000 renders that never happen. You are the best developer out there for delaying the update over and over again. No one like you BD keep doing what you are doing. Is that what you want people to talk about?

To be fair to them, it is almost impossible for the thread to be about the game itself when it hasn't had much new added to it in many months. It's not like it's a franchise like Star Trek that has years of content to discuss, once you play the game for an hour or so, you already said all there was to say, so you only can talk about the dev and his failure to deliver. The only alternative is to just lock the thread until the game is updated, which would then cause others to be unaware of what it going on with the dev.

I think the key detail here is that alarms every 90 minutes thing, which means no deep sleep, weak immune system and well you know how it goes from there, it's not out first rodeo

Typical braindrop excuses really. He says the update was almost done and then he went to upgrade the mansion instead. What that says to me is that he didn't actually have anything so he needed something to tell people about and went with upgrading the mansion.

I will answer your question by saying that I assume you have to climb up from the pool, and with a question of my own. Why are you asking me? I agree that it leaves little room for actual maneuverability, and they should either be spread out or farther back from the pool. I was just stating that I have seen this kind of design and hotels before. Usually, we either pulled the chairs back or got in from the side as I said by going in sideways if it was that narrow. Not sure why anyone would make such an inconvenience in the first place though.

(Expected release date of November 19th)

As you all know, this next update will include the first basketball game (Even if it's just an exhibition.)
Though that's not all it will include, there's a few scenes leading up to the game and there will be a few scenes after. The update will go until they are boarding their flight to Florida for the charity event.

We do not have an exact render amount for the update as it's not fully finished yet. There's 2 scenes that are near finished and there are a few transition renders to be made.
Our estimation is that it will be slightly over 1000 renders long. (The exhibition game itself is around 350)

This house scene better be the best fucking thing since sliced bread at this point.

Oddly there was no mention specifically of a house scene in the original mind drop for this release although it could be the few scenes after the exhibition game they mention. According to this though the game is 350 renders so the before and after should be 1650 renders plus, seems like a lot for half a day but then again, we have been on this 24 hour stretch in game for about 22 months.
