Since Braindrop paused pledges, he's going to try his absolute best to delay the updates until the end of the year so that he releases them when pledges resume. If Braindrop says he will do something, expect the opposite. If he says something is coming out today, then expect it to come out six months later.

Hard disagree. Anytime an artist changes his vision to kowtow to complainers the result is a loss of passion for the project. BD had a vision for an MC that was mega-superstar with a monster cock that all (literally) the ladies flock to. Now MC is benched, not traveling with the team, with merely above average endowment (i.e., not bigger than some real life pornstars). No wonder BD doesn't have the motivation to pump out the updates! If your vision clashes with the artists, you have the right to voice that opinion, but let the artist make their game or make your own if you prefer to self-insert as Mr. Six Incher.
I've never seen someone struggle to be LATE so much in my life. We all struggle to be on time occasionally, but BD can't even be late, he struggles to show up at all...

The reason the updates have become more and more infrequent over the years is because Braindrop has made more and more money. When someone gets a lot of money easily, their perception of money changes drastically. It's why lottery winners often overspend or why rappers and professional athletes go broke when their career is over.
He's only pausing pledges now to fool the patrons he still has into continuing their subscription with him. He's delaying the updates so he has more time to build up a reserve that he can release in smaller-sized updates throughout 2024. There's no doubt in my mind that he is pausing the pledges now so that he can milk his patrons even harder in the year to come.
