Cmon guys... When he said we get the updates on the 3th to 4th of July he clearly meant 2023
The main problem that I and many others have with BD is not how long releases take. Its the fact he keeps lying. I understand he may be going through a lot mentally. Which is why he should just come out and announce he is taking a break instead he keeps giving release dates and not keeping his word.

People who equate games you're basically paying for each month to an AAA games you pay for once and then that's as if they're the same thing are wild.

Sad he is having such a rough time. Would be disappointing if this got cancelled before we get a hot millie/harper threesome. But one man's well being is always greater than his art. Hope to hear from him again, but if not I hope it is because he found a healthy way to get away and not because of a continued spiral.
Personal problems are always directly proportional to the number of patreons developers have, how curious...

It does seem to be a trend very few can shake..... it appears cash causes the onset bullshititus at a galloping rate. One dev I follow is in a war zone still trying to get a release done but others have trouble dealing with breathing in and out with a paycheck every month.
The solution is as simple as the problem.
Devs that don't reasonably keep to schedules that they themselves set, repeatedly (this is key, as life can occasionally step in the way), should have support dropped. This means Devs like NTL Media who drop at a regular pace would never see support really drop. While those who don't deserve a dime (ICSTOR as prime example) should have all supporters run fast and far, because they can't produce a thing unless they fear the well is running dry.
As long as supporters keep on supporting the bad players, then they will continue to take advantage of your support.
I suggest a simple idea I work under. Each time I look for an update to a game I like, I look at last post and if it is an excuse for why it isn't done, I remove support. If on the other hand it is an update explaining where the update is at, how close to the date it is for release and if the update is on par with past releases. If all that is business as usual, then continue support and if this update is above avg, drop a one-time boost, just to show appreciation.

This could also be due to the increasing pressure of expectations. The more patrons, the more pressure. Some developers probably don't handle it well.
I dont know about his personal life, but everyone has to work in life and everyone has their own problems. Im working 9-12h per day normally (i got my job, and work on presonal projects appart), and if i stop producing, my boss probably got me fired, like every company (which is normal).
What i mean to say, its that the update its no enought. Last update was on october, near to 10 months of work to produce 400 renders (mostly with resorces already created, i mean you dont have to draw every face on every render) wich is about 15/20 min of gameplay... if you produce that working to any company, you get fired. And its not only about the quantity, but also quality because while the renders quality are being better (supposedly) seems that the narrative and history has a lot of non-senses. I prefeer a good narrative and history than a Full HD, 4K, 8K HDR Hyper Mega Quality renders, but its just my opinion and this can vary from every player. But it has non sense to me, make a remake (graphically speaking) when you dont even end your game....
Thats why im stop being patreon. Because his liyng to every patreon when he says that is close to release the update every single month.
There is a lot of companys having this problem, promising updates in their games that never come or when they come its seem like a Joke. I just like to remember, that even though there is no game directy selled, its not free either. We all pay (or paid previously) a lot in suscriptions, so even if hi is not selling the game directly, he need to take this as a real job.

True, life isn't easy for most of us. But if he's making money for his project, this is not a hobby anymore and it's his least responsibility to update the game for his patreons. Even though he could be having a hard time in life at this moment... Well, who doesn't? No need to curse him or anything, just stop supporting him, It's how the real world works.
Just tell your boss you mentally aren't capable of handing over the finished work and they'll understand and tell you to take your time while still being paid 100%. Maybe ask the secretary and cleaning lady on their opinion if you should give the boss all the work at once or split into chucks like a little every month. Oh yeah also from time to time just don't come to work for a couple of weeks straight and don't answer any phone calls from work, this is all fine too. That's how the world works, right?

You can, at her intro, but i will say, if you think you might be at all into it, choose trans. The scenes with her make a whole lot more sense if she's trans. IMO.

)) nice onealso why do people keep forgetting that while some of you might pay (highly doubt there's any of you that pay but for the sake of the discussion) you are not entitled to anything, you(general you) donating does not get you anything except a earlier release of any updates
Only thing you (again, general you) can do , is stop your payment if you disagree with what is going on and doubting him that he told the truth about what is going on.
