also why do people keep forgetting that while some of you might pay (highly doubt there's any of you that pay but for the sake of the discussion) you are not entitled to anything, you(general you) donating does not get you anything except a earlier release of any updates
Only thing you (again, general you) can do , is stop your payment if you disagree with what is going on and doubting him that he told the truth about what is going on.

You know that Patreon pledges are not like donations, its a service what creators offer there. So he is getting payed to bring that service to their users. He has the responsability, to keep working on his product while getting payed in Patreon.

And of course everyone its free to remove the membership, the same way everyone its free to get a refund of a game on steam if the product is not what the creator sell. But this doesnt mean that people cant complain, because its what we pay.

Ive been supporting him since 2019, thats means more money that you can spend on any AAA game, so sorry for being upset due to lack of content and false promises...

And dont take this post as a blame to Braindrop (he may be a wonderfull person) but against his "company/bussiness" methods. I cant blame him if hes not feeling in a good mental state to work, but that cant affect your product or service like any company. And if it goint affect your service, you must take steps to solve the problem either pausing pledges as he do a lot of times or hiring employees that keep working while you cant. Im not the one to say what he must do, but he need do do something besides promising that update every month...

That's biggest problem is the polls either gives him a bit of leeway or the results don't happen anyway. Like you said just carrying on developing it keep people informed of the game,give teasers to keep people interested then only announce an update when you think you it would be ready. There are plenty of other games which are still waiting for updates but the way those devs have handled it the patreons are excited for the release. Ghosting will only make things worse

100% this. I'm not backing a game that's amazing if the Dev is a fucking ghost. Or rather, once I realise the Dev's at it I'm gone. You should give money to promote a Dev. 100%, That doesn't however mean he can milk you like a simp just because he happens to create computer porn you sorta enjoy.

People are understandably upset with Braindrop for letting his story lose focus, for having few updates and seemingly lying about the status of upcoming releases. But, comparing him to ICSTOR seems premature. ICSTOR has not had a single update to Milfy City in over a year. Braindrop had a decently sized update to WVM this month.

It's not just those issues, the bigger issue is that every time he has to delay an update, something apparently always seems to happen to his real life. It's gotten to the point it no longer seems genuine and it seems more like he's coming up with fake stories to get sympathy from people while changing promises he made in the process. In a way, if BD is lying and half the stuff he's claimed about what's going on in real life turns out to be fake, that'll be even worse than ICSTOR.

I agree right now it seem like BD is working harder on coming up with excuses to delay the game then he is on the game. Also if he is making a living off his game. He should be making progress on his game. We all can understand shit happens in life, but there is a lot of people that still have to work. While they deal with the shit life throws their way. Its starting to feel like BD just wanting a free ride and do no work.

Only reason I see him not abandoning it is because he needs that money, so every 8-13 months, we may see a 100-300 render update just to keep patreon's satisfied.

I dont understand everyonea need to come into this thread to bitch. Does ir suck the game is basically stalled with no idea when we will get new content yes it does. Does it suck BD has been a ghost since the beginning of thw month yes it does.

However ypu guys need to treat this.like a toxic relationship, and find a way to move past it. Until BD can prove he is back and will jabe consistant updates you should just move on.
