In WVM's case, it seems like BD's using every girl's trauma (exceptions exist, such as the aggressive Mabel and Tia, although the S2 Ch1 Ep1 update suggests Tia may have a serious concern now; Mabel still appears quite stable) as a crutch to justify writing the MC as a wholesome savior who is in no way manipulating them into their desire. Don't forget how often it's repeated that he is the best person ever who is always there for everyone. Nobody will let you forget it except for the outside doubters who hate him until they join the cult (e.g., Kimmy, and Millie is expected to fall in line. Explicit enemies/rivals will just remain haters.).

When "Ditlo" first came out and I was reading the negative posts, I was adamant about NOT playing it.
Curiosity finally got the better of me,...Wow! was not what I was expecting.
I ALWAYS liked Harper. She is One of my Fave characters.
(I feel even more sorry for her than I did before. She deserves So much better than what she has received.)
In a way, I always hoped that her and MC would "hook-up" eventually, but we will see IF that ever happens.
And the censorship was just plain ridiculous!!
- Would have been better off hiding her nude body under a chemise (nighty); glimpses of her naked body (breasts, ass, her sex) without full exposure. Sometimes a Tease Is just as good as seeing Real thing.
It would not have really impacted or taken away from the story in anyway.

Yep the Censorship was fucked up, there are much better possibilitys to not show something or tease instead of what he used .... But for the MC Censor where his face was scratched that looked just like from an Psycho Movie.

Well, they did say that another update will be out september 30 but with his current track record i highly doubt we'll see anything until well into october/november/december/next year. I personally hate to be this skeptic since i love this game and trusted BD once upon a time but with all the lying and empty promises the trust just ain't there anymore

That's just an excuse. There are countless other devs that have managed to make an incest patch despite Patreon. BD just doesn't want to do it.

I like the games that let the player set the relationships themselves.
I'm not sure how Patreon views this sort of work-around, though.
At this point, it's likely too much work for a game of this size to go back and recode all the relationship variables.
Too bad.

There are also Devs who got themselves banned for inappropriate content. I can understand not wanting to risk being one of them.
