Time for another update, but damn, a massive winter ice storm hits, knocking out all power. Our hero must gather supplies and make the long hike through the dangerous forest to reach an internet café in the next town. Along the way, big titty duck-lipped Ice Vixens accost him and suck his dick, draining most of his life force energy. Will he make it to town in time for the upload...and a hot tea??

Time again for another update, but oh shit, there is a toxic waste spill next to a furry convention going on nearby. One of the attendants who is outside pissing in the bushes is hit with the glowing sludge and is transformed into a furry futa hybrid then staggers into the local pet cemetery where all departed dev pets are laid to rest when they pass. Frustrated that the futa penis is much smaller than most AVNs would proclaim and angered about missing the convention's AVN Q&A panel, the Hybrid utters a curse and raises an army of zombie animals from the graves to launch an all out assault on our dev stronghold. Can our heroes beat them off beat them back long enough for the sun to rise and the zombie curse to be lifted?

These characters were just planned as clients who would disappear after some fun scenes. Before he changes his plans and included them in the harem, they didn't need to fit to the plot.

Yeah, you're right. It's just funny to me that he says he has anxiety about releasing updates because they aren't good enough. And then at the same time, inserts random meaningless characters with dice-rolled names and no impact on the plot. It seems pointless to worry about this game being AAA quality when its flaws are so obvious and jarring.

The perfectionist anxiety is just another of the many excuses Braindrop uses. If Braindrop was that stressed and worried, he wouldn't be constantly delaying updates and disappointing his fanbase. He knows that he could literally delay this next update for two months and still would have plenty of patrons willing to throw money at him in hopes they'd one day finally see the update. I mean, we're all here still, aren't we? As much as we have lost respect for the developer we still come here to talk about the current state of the game and will all still play the game when the update comes out. I don't know about you, but if I was making six figures to sit around and think of excuses as to why I wasn't working, the last thing I'd be is stressed.

One of the dumbest things I've seen, who the fuck cares about the interior of the home when the game has had so many delays? Just fucking update the game and worry about the other crap in the next update that will be delayed 8 times.

Wow, I'm so shocked! He's delayed the update yet again for completely nonsensical reasons, who would have thought?

Literally in the last update they said they picked this date because they were sure it'd work and they made sure to carefully choose it so that it'd go along with their schedule. It's actually insane that this update was supposed to come out mid-November and is still being pushed further into February. Braindrop banned me from his Discord for claiming that this exact thing would happen.

They're trying to spin this as "it's not a long delay so it's not that big of a deal" well I remember the time in November when they said the game would be done in another week and after that week was up, they said it'd only be a few more days. Now it's almost February and we yet again have no release date and will be lucky if this update comes out this year at all. It's actually sad that everyone was able to see this coming from a mile away because the developer is seriously just that untrustworthy. If you're still subscribed, unsubscribe. The update isn't coming out any time soon so you might as well cancel your subscription and save your money.

In the bigger picture, a small delay isn't worth writing so many excuses.

Yes, he's been pretty unreliable, makes promises and fails them. In the end the only one that suffers is his reputation. He's apparently trying to turn a new leaf and start making strides towards a more planned and more organized work schedule.

He really doesn't need a PR manager, he needs a project manager. Most of his problems are solved by a steady workflow. Even then, problems may arise, but if planned correctly, these... one week extras... would have been absorbed, well, barring unpredictable events.

This isn't a catastrophe, it's just the result of poor planning. Something that he is a master of.

Project Managers should be dropping CV's on his Discord. He needs a decent one.

At this point I feel about these excuses the same way I felt about Joffrey's cruelty in Game of Thrones - it became almost a fun game to be surprised by what new, pathetic angle was coming. Just when I thought I couldn't be more annoyed, we have found a new angle of cluelessness that I honestly didn't even think was possible. "I don't want these changes to be baked in" says the guy who is literally remaking the game entirely before he finished it. I look forward to the updated cups in MC's cabinet due in 2025, they're gonna be so much better than the cups before and well worth the wait and hey I'm already mad anyway so why not?

Someone should put BD's timeline of delays and excuses into a spreadsheet and see if we can create a predictive algorithm. I bet that could be finished before this next update comes out.
