I tried using the save from the online version in notepad but it's just endless gibberish, whereas other html games usually you could poke your way through and find variables needed to be changed like lust, money, fame, etcYou can just download Twine and import the .html, the game is fairly easy to mod although the code is more complex than the standard Twine game.
Im not sure what 20 clicks you’re referring to, but my guess is it’s the face-fucking scenes where there’s a timer in the background - I’ll need to make it more obvious it’s time based instead of clicks based.
When you say the notepad “doesn’t work”, what do you mean? So far this is the first report of the notepad not working.
This file is not gibberish or encrypted, it's a base64 snapshot of the game state - the only option available to me for Harlowe. It is stored in the same way your browser stores memory. This is the first Harlowe game that lets you download saves in the first place, because I commissioned a coder to write a javascript addon to the engine, though it's far beyond my own abilities. Now I've also given this code to the dev of Transylvania, one of the only other big projects written in Harlowe rather than Sugarcube. Sugarcube games have the option of simpler save files. But Harlowe is more elegant, in my subjective opinion - less feature-packed but more friendly to non-coders like me.I tried using the save from the online version in notepad but it's just endless gibberish, whereas other html games usually you could poke your way through and find variables needed to be changed like lust, money, fame, etc
Thanks for your feedback and suggestions! Could you give an example of a specific animation that goes into the "horror" territory, I'll examine it and see what I can do in future.Excellent game, probably the best take on x-change to-date. Three suggestions:
Overall quite excellent, this is joining the small list of games I'll actively check up on. No other suggestions for now other than requests for more content, though I could see the pink background as the only option being irritating, a small menu in the options for selecting the text/background colors would be nice QoL.
- Reduce the blurry/oily filter intensity dramatically, it's ok to apply a little bit but in some shots it's so extreme that facial features are distorted, turning this from an erotic game into a horror game.
- Cheats are good, Degrees of Lewdity has an actual cheat menu in game where you can click buttons to do things instead of typing into a prompt. I'd suggest migrating the existing cheat menu to clickable buttons buried in the phone somewhere but still quickly accessible, cheaters don't much care for lots of speed bumps in the way of said cheating. Also add something to win/skip the QTE minigames, some people are going to want those scenes to play hands-off so to speak.
- There's no real impact through the two stats (femininity and identity), they seem to be one in the same but also have no actual impact, I'm assuming this changes substantially later. When that happens you should put some clear gating on encounters, showing how much of whichever of those stats you need in order to trigger a scene.
Well I don't know what language this is in but it's what I get when I use notebook and saveditonline to try and edit files from the online link, and as for the cheat menu I can't actually find one in either version. Do I have to download Harlowe for this to properly work? This file is not gibberish or encrypted, it's a base64 snapshot of the game state - the only option available to me for Harlowe. There's a set of in-game cheat codes to increase money, stats, raise and lower masculinity etc.

The filter lets me:
1. Compress videos to fairly small size, since it effectively just reduces the number of colors on the screen, while retaining generally the motion. If I didn't compress them, the 1000s of media files in game would quickly inflate the game size closer to a 60GB steam game lol. 3GB is still a lot but considering there are currently about 5000 media files in my latest build, it is acceptable to me. However, earlier on in development my compression skills were not as good, and some of the videos come out too blurry. Passing them through an AI model typically sharpens the edges nicely, and that's what I've been doing for the latest scenes - though I still think there's room for improvement.
2. Even SubscribeStar doesn't officially allow real porn games. However when they saw that I used a filter they gave my game a pass, whereas Patreon had banned me for that reason. Somehow, other games are getting away with real porn use, but not sure for how long. I'm not assuming my SubscribeStar is going to last forever, but hoping that it is enough to pay off the web hosting fees I've already paid, and support it out into the future a bit so I can keep on developing.
Femininity does have an effect, though often it is hard to tell how it is affecting you in game. Earlier on in development I made most of the checks and stat calculations happen in the background, but I began to realize it is more fun to get obvious feedback for how it is affecting you. So you will start to see more of that.
Identity, yes, doesn't do anything yet. But it will be your health stat essentially - hitting 0 will be game over. Your character won't die or anything, they'll just lose their grasp on the person they are, although it will be a very fun demise usually.
The funny thing with cheats is actually cheat buttons are way more easy to implement, I implemented the cheat codes method out of pure nostalgia. I'll probably change it at some point and yeah, will add a cheat for auto winning / auto failing minigames. That would be good.
I may see about making the pink background changeable - although note that some things look perfect - for instance the video versions of the trading cards have a bit of background color in the corners, since you can't put real transparency in video. But I think overall people wouldn't mind these sorts of glitches if they really want to change the color.

I tired that but i get an error whenever i try to import it.It's in base64, encoded in little-endian UTF-16. You can use a site likeYou must be registered to see the links, and copy the big text block. Under "Source character set" select "UTF-16LE" (LE = Little Endian), and as you can see in the screenshot below, it becomes human readable.
You should then be able to edit and re-encode it by the same method.

Yes there are events you can trigger based on your job sale, not doing chores, loosing blackjack into debt, with the stepsister, at the mall, the gym, and so on. Three of those categories have a level of progression or “story” that ive found. Is there anything else to this game other than work the sales job and chat to girls in the bar? I like the sales job as a concept but doing it three times a day and having to remember all that different stuff each time made me give up.
I know there's a few random scenes in the woods/beach etc. but is there any non random event and actual story content outside of what I said above?
Why is it that only the man can gamble in the bar?
I'm not sure if blackjack is random, the amount of 21's thrown up is insane. the odds are it should be 1 in every 20 hands, it feels more like 1 in every 3 or 4 hands.
Patiently, but eagerly, awaiting future releases. Easily my favourite transformation game. One thing to note is that I've only started development on this game and it is still a demo, so I would really appreciate it if people could see it in that light. Games like this take a lot of time and a lot of love to pull together.
I hope you didn't take my comment as criticism, more as a request, love the game! One thing to note is that I've only started development on this game and it is still a demo, so I would really appreciate it if people could see it in that light.
