You can do basically anything with cheats. For example, something like this should work:

that is impossible you have to look at mod compatibility and requirement... pick your poison.

So, for some reason when I had the game un-moded I had both the: X CHANGE LIFE index and the modded variant. After installing mods the variant dissapeared. Downloading the full game anew as well as the update alone did not show any modded variant, and while I know that the mods are compatible and usuable through the mod loader, I cannot play the modded game. Any help?

I downloaded the base game from here, and only one mod from loverslab. the probem affects all the pics from the base game and the mod.

gave the permission to write in propreties, still nada. Also the previous mod loader didnt have this problem. And it could load multiple mods together :\
I also tried to copy the images from the base directory to the modded one and they are still counted as 0 bytes untill opened.

Using the Merriam-Webster word finder site, only 5 letter words with CHEA (A being the last letter) in it is; chela, chena, Chewa, cheka, and theca. And looking-up these words, I doubt any are in the game even without looking in the code.
I use the site to look-up words when its like use the letter 'E' nine times, filling-up the first three lines with such words (freeze, melee, eerie) then buying a clue and solving the puzzle with the next two lines.
I have a similar problem with a lot of the pics not showing, but in my case it cannot be a mod responsible despite being heavily modded. Even just playing the unmodded version I get missing pics.
Unmodded missing pics either means - you have downloaded a patch and accidentally overwritten all the old files / directories meaning many of the old files were removed, or 2. you are using something like an android which opens the .html in a different directory from the images. The first thing to check is, are all the pics actualyl there in the same directory as the game.
My problem with the missing pics is esp. severe with the outfits. For instance with Jia in the clothes shop around 3/4 of the dress options are not showing up. You can still choose them, but the corresponding pic will not show. Her "standard" pics all show up.
Ok! My point stands about what the root cause is. I have seen people have this problem dozens of times and it is always some issue with their computer / phone / installation method.
