Yeah I'm with the OP on this one too. I like that more was added to the storyline, but didn't enjoy the resulting story.

Do you sometimes save before obvious plot events and try to replay them with a different attitude?
After experimenting with four different variations I picked the one combination of the events that best fits the intended "story-arc" for the current playthrough.
The scenes the developer is selecting and how they are combined with music to set a different mood is impressive.
Overall I feel the core game does not nudge the player into a certain path.
It is becoming more like a sandbox and the player chooses how to interact with this world.

that's the problem, you need to be sales lvl 3 to trigger the event

Read the changelog again, more carefully.
Seems you can soft lock the game if messing around with the sauna button, but at the same time a guy tries to hit on you at the gym. The exit button never appears if both happen at once. Can't remember the exact sequence but I've been stuffed by it a couple of times now when clicking through things.

After a secretary shift and going to a post-work massage the player could encounter Drew on the rooftop.

Is raising relationship with the secretary girl supposed to be this hard? I keep getting <50% dice rolls when chatting with her even when I try nerdy chats with 9 INT. If I don't use action points I'm just going to drift further and further into negative values.
Could just be luck, but I do feel like my dice rolls with her have been weirdly difficult to pass too.
The rolls become slightly easier as your int or charm goes up, but most of the time you're better off using an action point and then replenishing it via coffee.
If you're not above scumming it, you can save in the bathroom before attempting a roll, and just load back to it if you fail. No time wasted out of your work day.

Nope the rng can be brutal.... on the first run i was superlucky... then super unlucky... then normal
Starting stats and condition the same 3 game 3 wastly different dice average
The only difference was first online 2nd offline 3rd offline with dice only
the seccond was so brutal that after 2 weeks i was still at c2f4i2 1000$ started c2f2i2
first run 2 week c6f5i4 12000$ from c2f2i2
Oh well it was an eye opener.

I got dosed with a breeder at the club, and got pregnant at the office the next day. From there, been having a ton of sex with varies men because I can't get anymore pregnant. But boy, do those dice rolls have a crazy swing to them sometimes.
