That art style of the OP and one of the preview pictures got me interested enough to look at the game then I saw it was a more realistic art style and checked out.

I both love and hate this update.

Love the fact that finally there's something with the step dad.

But that secretary work drives me nuts. I hate it with a passion. Too many forced variables to being molested at work with no way to get out of it. That wordle mini game with no way to disable it. And needing to click through for hundreds of times through that spa thing, just to get home to hopefully progress a bit with step dad.

Once you have the red hair item you never have to do the spa again, it's applied automatically every time.

So I was struggling a long time with the secretary gameplay and I assumed that it was by design. After a search here I discover that it is just "Wordle". A small request from someone who has never heard of fucking wordle explain in game what I am supposed to do. Thank you

It's basically 5 letter hangman. You're trying to guess the correct word, and other words you've used before gets their letters either confirmed or eliminated as options.
If it's in the word but in the wrong position, it's yellow. If it's in the correct position, it's green. If it's not in the word, it gets greyed out where all the other letters are.
The trick with this game, is to choose words that makes it easier to narrow down what the correct word is. For example, if you start with "email" and then "sound", you've hit the vowels and some of the most common consonants. Depending on what you think it might be, you could then go for words that include T, R, C, K, or Y. That should narrow it down to almost guessable.

Importing saves is working, but now when importing to an empty slot it is impossible to load that save. The save is definitely being loaded to the slot internally as trying to import again triggers the confirm overwrite dialogue, but it displays as empty and cannot be loaded/deleted/etc. through the UI even after refreshing.

Starting a new game, saving to that slot, then importing over it is a workaround though if others have the same issue before it's fixed.

Is it possible for you to send me a save causing this functionality? I have not seen this myself. (Could you also let me know what browser you are using - it could be browser related)

I should probably add a link to a set of rules when the game begins. For some reason it didn't occur to me that WORDLE isn't super well known... and there are specific strategies to XCL's implementation of it that should be called out.

The dev said "Gay or even sissy content is not planned because I would not do it justice, as it is not my thing." That's completely understandable.
I also read that this game has a lot of mods. Sissyfication isn't my thing either, but does anybody know if any of those mods have gay or bi-/pansexual male content?

I do believe there are some mods I have seen on this but I would need to cruise through LoversLab. Unfortuantely - and this is my fault, because the game's code wasn't originally super moddable - there are a lot of hardcoded explicit gender checks in the game's code, and any mod overriding them would risk a large degree of incompatibility. So I am open to working with a modder to make the core game code relating to gender more moddable - similar to how we have added the modding tags system, so people can just inject code in places without risking compatibility issues.

Cool update. I find I can't embrace both the male and female side at the same time so I end up ignoring half of an update sometimes. But I like the new pills. I take it they're not ones you'll be selling or demoing? I haven't done the sales job this update because of the secretary stuff.

The most recent pill demo that had that extended extra journey after, is probably my favorite update so far. I hope we get more stuff like that.

There will be more stuff like that! Specifically the Dairy Queen pill will have an extensive post-demo scene (milking related).

So there's one correct word you're hunting for, and you must guess 5 letter english words to try and figure out what the correct word is. The game will let you know if any letter in a word you tried is utilized in the correct word, and will also let you know if it's in the right location.

So for example, in the attached I guessed a bunch of five letter words, 'comfy' 'trash' and 'plied' to use various letters (shown in the bottom right). The yellow are letters that are used in the correct word at least once. Green are both the right letter and in the right location. You can see in this example whatever the word is, it uses F, S, L, I, and E, with E in the fourth location. L can be in the first, third, or fifth location. I can be in the first, second, or fifth. F and S can be anywhere except the fourth location. Correct answer ended up being 'files'. The current tasks are sometimes impossible. Finishing faster is worth more points, as is finishing with a 'more correct' answer if you can't get it right.

The list of letters in the bottom right is a good tool. The letters that show up first are the ones most used, so are good guesses to try and narrow it down. Most words are themed around smut or office work too.

I too, had never played wordle before encountering it in this game.
But since I had thousands of hours of competitive scrabble experience, I figured it out pretty quick.
People used to ask me, "why are you reading an American dictionary?!"
Just memorising words for a game. Not using them in actual life.

And, not that i care for SPH, but girls are reacting with positive if not enthusiastic comments to my character smallish thingy... Which might be a bug. On the second encounter i can understand since he managed to use it well, but on the first sight...
Also, seems to have an issue with safe word.

On a positive note, more girls in the bar, and interactions with them is smoother.

I had no issue with the 0.18b.
I'm now wondering if i tried to import it on the autosave slot by mistake, which might have been why i was not able to load it previously.
It functions when using the second or third save slot, i managed to load it but at a snaily sluggish pace.
Firefox, Ubuntu.
