One of the early problems I had was I had to reinstall java twice, the first try wasn't version 8. If mod-loader.jar doesn't open, I believe it would be a java problem then. Of course when I downloaded more mods, I deleted my old copy of XCL and unzipped a fresh copy to avoid any issues. My main problem was I didn't downloading varies support mods to the ones I had, but the mod-loader informs one when you load mods into the game to what you're missing.
So my advise is on your first try to keep the mod list light, then go on from there once you get comfortable. Some of the mods do take some time to download, so that's another thing to keep a eye on.

Hi has anyone have cleared the achievements "Strippers on Parade" and "Tainted Products?" I am not sure how to work on it.

Agree! I tested it some days ago for another issue and it runs untouched into my wife's MAC, as it should be. I also run it under Windows 10 without issues like that. So, to start, I'd try it in another PC if you have one. Same thing: Uncompress Game + browser + java. That should be enough.
Not sure about this one but sometimes there are older java installs that keep installed even if you install a new one. Oracle uses to warn you about that for you to uninstall old java first. Current version I have is "Java 8 Update 144" (got from Control Pannel).
By installed game I meant just uncompress the 7z file to its default folder, wherever HD you decide to put it. I suppose the game itself alone is running fine in your browser, right?
As suggested by FamillyDog, start with a small mod.

I'm not tripping, I am 100% sure that mod existed (it's an old one yes and i even had it in my game) cmacleod42 even confirmed it, I'm assuming it was removed from Lover's Lab for some reason.

To this game's creator gotta say I love the choice of movies you can buy and watch at home.. You have quite a few of my SciFi and Fantasy favorites. Bladerunner,Excalibur,Indiana Jones and other Cult Classics and the list goes on.. Thank you it helps with immersion too.
After doing this make sure to go to all of the folders and change folder and image names to remove "step" as well or it will break all of the images. otherwise you'll have to go through those 1400+ instances individually.

Big mods that overwrite in-game code quickly become impossible to manage. But big mods that use the tags / around system properly are much more future proof. The game has dozens and dozens of stubs where mods can safely inject code, it's all about using those, or asking me for a stub in a place where mods need it, and I am happy to add it.
Wow I'm really glad I revisited this game.
It feels like content from the last few updates has had a dramatic step up in the quality and breadth of writing for the erotica, including some of the hottest scenes I've seen in a while.
I don't particularly care for genderbending, but I like sexual transformations, and some of the ideas here are extremely novel and hot.
Even though the game flirts with kinks that I don't enjoy like misogyny, overt-degradation and physical "inferiority" (this one is inconsistent). The steamy rough sex, hyper-stamina, messy cumplay, free-use, sexualisation, hyper-femininity, overwhelming pleasure, pregnancy/breeding, and eager debauchery are all extremely sexy and well expressed through the combination of music, written paragraphs, vignettes, and edited media clips.
The earlier content which is mostly just unedited porn footage with QTE's and minimal writing are very dry in comparison, and what put me off the game initially, but it's come incredibly far. I greatly prefer it when real-porn games prioritize writing, using composite gifs/webm's and audio to accentuate the erotica.
I haven't experienced absolutely everything, but bimbo Bree, Hailey, Mariselle, the corporate party, and the new bimbo player content are my absolute favourite parts so far.
The writing does an extremely good job empthasising the women's pleasure and orgasmic bliss through little details about their body language, and the cock/ball worship and cumplay has some delightfully twisted prose. I do find it frustrating how slutty outfits increase the odds of you getting the (more) annoying guy archetypes to hit on you, I often find myself temporarily wearing her expensive ball gown when searching for sugar daddies instead of her literal sugar daddy outfits, which is inconvenient.
Cassidy getting described as having the body of a fertility goddess definitely adds up, plus her partners saying her massive tits and physique are built for being a preg-slut.
As far as technical issues I only had a few:
