Why are some of the downloads diffrent size ? is there any diff between mega 7.8 or pixel 8.3

Interesting. I haven't checked the two downloads for equivalence, but I suspect it's a unit difference - 8.37GB = 7.795GiB, so probably what's happening is that Pixeldrain measures in gigabytes whereas Mega measures in gibibytes but calls them gigabytes, and that's what makes the sizes look different.

I got the exact same whenever i load a save from 0.21.3, saves from previous versions work fine but if you overwrite them or make a new save it gets corrupted, the same applies to auto saves.
I thought it was likely caused by a mod but it seems i was wrong, I tried a different browser but that didn't help.

I wasn't even trying to load a save. Clicked on the bookmark and got it.

It's not a mod. I was getting this error with a heavily modded version of the game, and now I'm getting it with a completely unmodded game as well.

Those errors seem to be connected to the updated Harlowe engine part since version .21. Try a clean install and dont try to use any old saves and if those errors keep showing up again: post your browser etc to help the dev fixing this. State if you have java installed, java script enabled/disabled etc. Just shouting 'there is a bug' is not really helpful

Already had it show up again on a new install. I'm using Chrome, but I don't think that matters since other people have experienced it on multiple browers. Java is installed and up to date, and javascript is enabled.
Audo drivers completely up to date. Can't find an applicationj error.

Please edit your post to include '@ aphrodite' minus the space and quotes, so the dev gets pinged directly about it and mark it with the actual bug message from your system. If you are on windows you should see an application error in your event log for example as well. I am just trying to help you guys to structure your reports a bit better, since nothing is more helpful than a good structured bug report, if you really want to help.

As of the original screenshot and a known issue with Harlowe: sound seems to be the actual culprit. Any chance you havnt updated those drivers for a while?

Now, I'm able to buy the limit upgrade, but when I try to level to 4, it gives the level up notification but I'm still at level 3 with 90 exp to go no matter how many times I try to grind the stat.

No it should not. We are in 2024 and knowing what a java container is, should be common knowledge for someone , who picks up games on a pirate site, let alone someone modding a programme. I am a fucking Boomer and know that.

Every Monday I get a message saying I haven't kept the warehouse guys happy, which procs +10 sex rep and -$15000 sales total but I don't get it. The warehouse guys have like 15 friendship and respect, I see them twice a week, tho I've never slept with them. Is this normal?

after a certain point you have to sleep with them to keep them happy and keep getting upgrades. i think its after the 100k desk that happens.

I've never had a game on here hit ~100GB on my computer...and I've NEVER done multiple playthroughs re-reading all the dialog etc. Are there any other games that even come close.. saying '10/10' doesn't even do it justice.

If those 'never have I...' are meant to be related to this game, I have to wonder how you manage to fill your hard disc with a size that is tenfold what the download is.

So we are talking a ratio of 9:1 mods vs original game

Not trying to diminish your happiness, but that is more mods than original and makes your statement kind of vane. (Almost) Every game can be pimped up by mods to do much more than it does originally, so your comparison with other games doesnt really fit. The base game isnt bad but it also is far from being one of the best. There are very limited mechanics, partially badly described on top of that (as the thread clearly shows, since users are confused by the same stuff again and again).
