This might be an... Odd? thought, but while I know there has been at least some talk of dating content (something with the car? And dancing at the club), and the game mostly leans into a semi-free use high libido tenor, has there ever been any thought put into a bit of an affection/light romance system? Sort of like how your coworkers and the bar girls have respect/friendship/attraction to you, just something that builds up over time to adjust how, say, you and a guy feel about each other, as it's always tripped up my sense of... I don't know, narrative progression if my character has been seeing the same girl/guy semi-regularly for X months, and yet the characters always address each other mostly like it's a one night stand or impromptu booty call (I mean, often that 2nd one is literally true due to the game mechanics, but still). I'm not necessarily meaning like, a real change in mechanics? Just like, alternate triggerable text lines and such, or like, if the player character has a higher level of affection (or whatever one cares to call it) towards a guy, have text other than "I'm just calling them for the money" during pregnancy (and, if vice versa, maybe have them less inclined to go for blackmail/mockery/act surprised you have their phone number when the two of you call each other incessantly, etc. =P)
Like, I, personally wouldn't mind it going further than that, struggling for monogamy in this crazy, libidinous, hedonistic world could be an interesting way to use the various resistance/willpower/w/e systems, but that seems like a heck of a lot more work than an extra tracker value and some alternate entries in the collection of lines characters say. I guess one other up side, if there's some sort of affection system and tracker built into the base game that gives people who want to mod in more elaborated dating/romance stuff things to work with?
