If you hear windbell sound when you click choice, You are in good route (For both being a best Titan and opening love route)Then how are you suppose to tell the difference between earning friendship points and events that earn love points/gain hearts? Most on the events of the characters seem to be tied into the main storyline since missions didn't proceed until all available event need to be done to trigger the next main mission storyline. Example being a lot of Beastboy, Blackfire, and Miko quests crossover each other to further the main storyline. That how I ended up with Blackfire at 5 hearts. I think it would be better if it was reversed than that you should need 0-3 hearts to start dating locking you into a love route because if the guys event can cause the harem route than you should need to have the 4-5 hearts so that all the girls are in agreement with it. Thus keeping harem route events locked until you get all the hearts needed to unlock it. The way it is now is a bit confusing unless there is a clear way to tell which options at certain events earn what kind of points, like in some of those modded games. The only thing I still find weird is that for some reason I still never triggered Jinx, Terra, and Miko last love route events. So either something in the harem route prevents them triggering, because when using developer mode to open harem route opened them up to me at lest.
If you make mistakes, then the routes changes or even get blocked.
The friend events are combined with Main storyline for story purpose. The love or harem events are not necessary to trigger Main mission, but completing main mission is needed for love events.
The game is not perfect, I agree. I just try to write a story from scratch without copying any game to make XIX stand out.
I will look into the route triggering bug. The game will be completed in couple of updates, and the final update will have all it's bugs fixed
