Pretty much every text box is like this or even less legible than this. Did I mess something up or is this mtl just worthless?

Sorry for not testing before uploading, folks. I didn't run the game yet, I just wanted to get it up with a faster file provider

please provide a virustotal scan result
The PixelDrain link had 1/98 vendors mark it as malicious, though the 1 that marked it was DrWeb, and that one seems to mark all PixelDrain links as malicious. I couldn't analyze the file as the site had a 650mb upload limit, and the rar is 1.3gb

I use renpy thief to ltranslate.
It's weird because this is the only unity engine game have that translate problem...
I use 6 different unity fonts(arialuni_sdf_2018 - 2023). even using different language (JP to EN)(JP to CN). the text box still have the same problem...
I give up... the UI and everything else don't have that problem. (only text box)
bro... I don't understand, I give up

Meh textractor works, I'll play with that I guess. Thanks for trying.

The translation issues are because this game's UI was built to render text in a way that splits it into lots of small objects (per-character). So when XUnity tries to translate we only get nonsense word-by-word translations instead of proper sentences. Basically, the dialogue of the game could be "お店に行ってきました (I went to the store)" but will be represented in the console as:

Which, since XUnity translates line by line, gives us the random bullshit like "Oh StoreRow OhAnd I Was There." Having said this, I tried for around 3 hours earlier trying to find a workaround to this by disabling partial translations in the config file and adjusting scopes, but XUnity still broke lines apart so the translation engine is never able to see full sentences.

mtool doesn't work because it doesn't support Unity, since technically autotranslator should work, which unfortunately it doesn't.

You can try using Translator++ but for this game it will be a pain in the ass. There are also AI translation models but they cost money. The other option is to use real-time translators like Sugoi Offline Model and Luna Translator but they are more for personal use. As they have said, things are difficult because you don't even know if after rendering all the texts would be displayed correctly. The cheapest thing is to do a manual translation sentence by sentence.

Real-time translation models like Lunatranslator or Sugoi offline model work as you can see in the images. but they are for personal use, sugoi oflline model has an option to translate the texts if you manage to extract them and insert them and opening sugoi oflline model and it opens as a white box, you drag the texts and the program translates them once finished you have the translated and untranslated texts but you need a good PC or it will take forever
