I think you're right, especially since it's his last Patreon post on XXX Boss from 09/12/2023. After that there were only postings for other games.

One of these games. The girls are pretty (especially the blonde one), the game mechanics are lousy and always trigger the same events and then a woman stands in front of me and says I'm fired and the game is over, and I don't know why (probably because the game doesn't have any more content?).

That is an intended fail state. The instructions at the start of the game tell you what to do in order to progress.
