To me gameplay > hcontent in this game. I loved collecting every pokemon on the pokedex and evolving them.
Sex scenes were there as bonus for me. They're kinda generic since it's all about you winning the match and fucking the girls as prize. Girl cums first then you cum and girl cums with you, same repetitive stuff. Honestly I skipped some of the sex scenes just to progress. Animations are good though.

So if I understood correctly, there is a version 2.16 of this game + dlc that is the final version of the official translation? Is it worth waiting for, or is the current version worth playing? I'm kinda confused about the version difference and translation status/censorship status even after scanning the comment section.

the main page download is fully uncensored dlc 1 game. Official translation too. The dlc 2 is japanese only, you cant play it without additional efforts. The game worth playing in any it's state, cause it's masterpiece of passion and devotion. But waiting for dlc 2 release for full experience is up to you, after all people are different. I just skeptical about release time so i got as far as to get it working now with mtl. If you load dlc 2, it gonna be CENSORED ver, some text in japanese. The text from previous ver would be still in eng tho. Content expands not much in mainland, most of it in the dlc 2 area. New mons, ability to release catched mon, new tournament(it's fire for me) and new side storyline.

Does this game have any defeat scenes? Asking because the abandoned house in village of beginnings feels like there should've been a lose scenario

i'm pretty sure dev just added it post thought in dlc 1, original game hadn't it in any way. So no, the only defeat "scene" you get is some additional dialogue lines when girls win. Males don't speak i think-just "you give 1000 yen" or "you apologised profusely for lack of full sum of money"

only for 1 fight and i don't even know if you can get it if you lose normally, the scenario for "when you lose" can still be seen if you win

Well, you can lose to the guru in the ruins and get the ntr route, but it will unlock anyway as a bonus after the end of the game (there'll be a red door hidden in the trees right before the south entrance to the ruins)
Also, I don't know if it counts, but you can lose during the final tournament and there will be a scene where, you'll go back home sad, one of the girls will become the new champion, but the salvation of light will go off and everyone dies...and then you either get reloaded before the fight you lost or reload a save ( can't remember)

that sounds interesting, anyone have save near tournament? I want to watch that
