I wanted to try this game, but then I saw the "Scat" tag and now I would like to know if there's a toggle, a skip, or anything that allows me to not see these scenes at all.

All scat scenes have warnings before hand and aren't involved in regular play. You have to go out of your way to find them.

Finally done with everything, is there not actually a door behind the Quem and Vice posters in the 2nd DLC dev room? It looks like there is one but it doesn't look like you can do anything to get there, and I have all the trophies. Falconix, Hadetheos, and Chikeflare got me across the finish line, though having to hit a Lamenting Spite on that Gelien or dying wasn't fun.

I will add to this the following: ALL the Scat scenes are hidden in the Dev's Room! If you want not to go in the Hidden Room in the Dev's Room, it's up to you!

Yeah I think there was exactly one scat scene that's not hidden in the dev room that was added with DLC 2 behind the "what if" door and that has a warning attached too. It even has its own unique warning icon.

- seen the matsutake event ?
- chikeflare had backed out ?
its in the dlc 1 room big city left side. i played though the game but cannot find these conditions.
also where can i find:
- buddy, in study room? for leo scene.
