How can I transfer my old save from the old version, I want to experience the other features on my own
a lot of rpg maker game have easily transferable save file keep this in mind for any other rpgmaker game(warning always back up, I don't hold any responsibility for any error) in yarimono case go to data->www->save. just copy and paste it to the newer version.

this development room on top of your house, you can reveal the ladder by interacting the spot mc is looking at 5 time. just keep going until you see a room where you can see different cg (think of it as second gallery) and then go to the bottom right

Playing the through the game again, since the 1.0'ish release. I have a little tip for anyone wanting to win the first Leo fight without cheating for the heck of it. The dev deliberately left an out in Leo's team setup. As you'd have been 1-shot by the lvl 36 yarimon otherwise. The weaker ones allows you to buff yourself a lot beforehand. The level 36 one is fire based. One of the best tanks in much of the game, especially after Moostar's nerf is (Moostar is still the best in my opinion) the yellow slime called "Slorp/Snaildome". It's immune to status effects, which is the big killer in long fights. The slime also has type advantage against Champlio.

A money mushroom (red/yellow) occasionally spawn in the little area in the middle right of the map. You'll need a few of the red ones on top of what you already have of money or get lucky with a yellow mushroom. Buy guard, attack, and hit potions. Evade potions wouldn't hurt either, but it's not obligatory.

There's a green mushroom in the dangerous area (bottom left) of Road of Beginnings.
You CAN defeat the level 28 or something trainer to get access to the green mushroom. The opponent wastes many turns trying to apply status effects on you, of which you are immune. You just have to get lucky for it to do it enough times to have your defense build up. The number next to the stat highlighted is not a turn counter, but a stack counter. You can stack a stat buff a max of 8 times. Potions lasts the entire fight. Get your yarimons to level 11, which if I recall correctly is the highest at that point without cheating. The trainer in the place to the North (Old Road) of Road of Beginners is simply too strong. The legendary trainer in the starter town is not a possibility without cheating. Buy buff potions in the vending machines found in the Northern part of the Road of Beginners.

Using whatever method, get a damaging status effect on the lvl 28 (or something) trainer's yarimon. Something on hit and resetting until it happens kind of thing. Have the slime be next in line. Then buff it with Guardrip (defense potion) and heal the slime every time it takes a hit. Adding further Guardrips in between. Might even add a Safe-T (evade potion) when at full health and fully buffed defense. The trainer's yarimon will sooner or later go down. It might take quite a few tries, but it will work.
You can use the same method on a "low" level (around lvl 25) Snaildome found in the area and capture it. Sure the level will be decreased to your trainer level, but it has a better stat line than it's pre-evolution version.

Now farm until you have 10 stars on your lineup (100 fights). Rearrange your yarimons making your Snaildome first in line. Farm some money mushroom if neccessary. Buy 10 of each potion except hit milk (you should still buy a few of them). Why 10 if 8 stacks is the maximum and the fact that potions adds 2 stacks each? Because Leo's Yarimons will debuff you every now and then. Requiring further buffs.

The whole process is agonizingly boring and it doesn't reward you in any way. Except a bit of selfsatisfaction it provides and a cheeky middlefinger to the game. For daring you to cheat or "wanting" you to lose. You get the same reward for winning as losing in this fight. Both provides you a trainer level and no sex scene (as there were no wager).

One of the yarimons which ending up being among my favorite fighters was "Beautimoth". An evolution of "Delusimoth".
I've cleared everything including the 2nd DLC with this as my main damage dealer.
It has good overall stats and a high attack stat. It's immune to debuffs, which also nullifies the side-effects of the powerful wind move "Sonic Howl". The fire type yarimons I was considering, simply had too weak passives. The dark type ones were made of paper and the earth type ones were mostly too slow and offensively weak (good defense). Water doesn't have good damage dealing moves.

Well, starting from the bottom, on steam version, if you defeat Leo without cheat tackle, you'll get an achievement (for the hunters, i believe it's a nice reward)

Anyway, I like your guide. I also wanted to share my strategy, but never did...guess I'll do it now

Really? I feel like Soliche's burn on switch in + Blazing Passion is one of the easiest setup combos to get going. The defense down and continuous chip damage from burn help break through tanky walls, and against squishy leads, Soliche's naturally high attack and Blazing Passion's 120 power can oneshot a lot of yarimons, netting you a free +1 atk to hit the next yarimon with a souped-up suicide Flare Impact (can optionally soften them up with another attack before going for FI). That's typically two yarimons taken out immediately. Against tougher leads, you can also start fights by immediately swapping out Soliche for a mon that can actually take hits.

Damage-dealing status effects are really broken in this game with how easy they are to stack; Lamenting Spite is pretty much a guranteed two-turn kill, and Spore Shower + Natural Powder is a combo that just brutalizes the 50-fight resort challenge.

Yea, Soliche was probably top 4 mons before DLC2 alongside Moostar, Kurotorofu/Shadoom and Chikeflare.
It's very easy for Soliche to beat most mons 1v1 allowing you to go up sometimes 2 for 1.

With DLC2 release, they added a few more contenders like Hadetheos and Gelien that can quickly 3v1, but Soliche is still good.

Soliche probably is still the best fire mon thanks to it's personality and glass cannon stat spread.

So Beautimoth is completely under my radar, because it can't tank and is slow

Beautimoth stats:
80 hp, 120 atk, 70 def, 70 agi total: 340

A better stat spread is Soliche who is both fast and strong with a great Personaility skill.

Soliche stats:
70 hp, 140 atk, 80 def, 110 agi total: 400

For Dark mons non DLC2, Kurotorofu/Shadoom is easily the best, it has a great personality skill and tank stats with a very optimized moveset to tank with.

Kurotorofu/Shadoom stats:
70 hp, 90 atk, 130 def, 70 agi total: 360

And for water, Snaildome has minmaxed defense stats allowing it to be a soft body tank to absorb DoT status attacks often used by Dark mons and heal it off.

Snaildome stats:
80 hp, 60 atk, 130 def, 30 agi total: 300

So, is there any new recommendation for meta yarimons in the new DLC? Previously, I played with Moostar and Soliche. I really want to change my team in my next playthrough.

Soliche was my main of my first playthrough some time ago. The personal ability isn't great compared to either of the immunity ones. The endgame has you swimming in cash. Using a slot for a defensive skill on special fights isn't optimal. Many of them only boost by 1 instead of 2 like with an item. Beautimoth's defense isn't so bad that it can't tank when supported by items. Against most fights it 1 shots with the Sonic Howl and it's relatively large attack. Type advantage over earth is better than against wind. Many other wind yarimons don't have a great defense unlike Beautimoth's which is okay. Earth yarimons have a lot more defense. Solice isn't bad it's a top 10. Shadoom is out of the question. Its passive is actively bad for you. You can't stack buffs on it.

One of the Yarimons which caught my eye in the new DLC is "Flutterflut". It has a wide variety of elemental natured mid high–high attack damage skills. The same goes for the "Hagiboar" and "Fertilideer". "Tangleplant" is also interesting. The stats are not the best, but its skills are quite special. A lot of life absorb from that one... but again the darn stats are so low. "Prismilla" has the stronget skill (7 times attack with 25 power, 175 power with 90hit (-chance)) in the game not counting the cheat skill. It has fairly good stats, but a rather worthless personal skill/personality. I was hyped for the 3 legendaries. I might be missing something. They kind of suck eggs, no? 25% more health and defense and I might have been more on board, especially if their personality/personal skill was way better. Like getting attack up when casting skills of their respective element or something.

Despite the nerf, Mooster is still pretty meta.
