Yiff.Party is Going down, Can anyone start development of an alternative?

So, news came out that the Post-Importing Site Yiff.Party is closing, with the server on a ticking clock to closure with no defined end-date,

On that site is data from multiple different creators that may not be accessible at all by anyone anymore if the site goes down without that data backed up whether it be by the account that content being associated with being removed, banned, or the creator themselves moving away from Patreon.

This would be a big loss for content preservation and the owner of Yiff.Party is not offering to transfer the site over to another person, so the only way to keep that data around would be to make a new site akin to Yiff,Party (Maybe not opened for the purpose of Furry stuff this time though).

If anyone knows how/is willing to make such a site, we would be incredibly grateful, and I would ask that said site be an improvement to Yiff.Party overall

A general guide for what said site should be like would be.

1. Be easy to import content to.
2. Let users who aren't importers should be able to request imports for a channel that is already imported
   • Yiff.Party attempts/attempted this by the "Request Update" button at the top of a channel thread (It didn't work half of the time in my experience)
   • Maybe suggest having a person who imports data from that channel have the option to get pinged that people want updates for that channel?
3. Be easier to suggest new content to import new channels
   • In Yiff.Party, the way to suggest new channels or directly ask for imports was via going to a large megathread that was not organized at all.
4. Allow users to sort and import more than just Patreon
   • Subsribestar, Pixiv Fanbox.etc
   • Especially with patreon cracking down further on people who create work that is considered NSFW.
5. Be responsive/Have a Server Status indicator of some sort?
   • The latter especially so we don't have this mess happen again with the massive downtime leading to an announcment of the site going to end in "the future".

The idea that makes me think that something like Yiff.Party should exist is for content preservation, some creator's channels may not exist forever or get removed, having a database like Yiff.Party helps preserve that content
And with people leaving patreon/patreon forcing people to leave, a site that only does things via patreon will not serve that element well at all.

So I please ask that someone look into it, and see if they can make an alternative, and better site

If the admin would transfer ownership instead of just letting the website die, this shit wouldn't be such a problem in the first place. On top of that fuckery, he won't release the source code, so we're boned on that front. Unless we get the source code or the admin magically changes his mind, we're boned beyond belief because we'd have to start over from square one.

Probably not that hard if you crib off of Archiveteam/datahoarder tools. The real difficulty, I think, will be in sorting all the data in a convenient fashion and having servers powerful enough to not do what kemono's constantly doing.

As of now, what I could suggest in the mean time for those of us who doesn't know how to code a website is to mass download all your favorite creator's contents. If you have the space and time, try doing that for other rare creators contents. We need to save as much as possible now so in case we do start over from scratch, we have at least some data recovery. Personally, I expected something like this for years as I knew the inherent danger of a site like this. I have been collecting a lot of furry contents thought the years so I'm willing to import contents that I have with the new site. Only issue is, I'm diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer and scheduled to have surgery in a week from now. Due to covid, there is a higher chance of me dyeing from the procedure than normal. If I survive, I plan of helping out as much as possible for what I can do.

I respectfully suggest that the main asset of yiff.party was not the content but the users who continuously uploaded it.
Getting them on board should be a priority.

I can contribute to the development with my knowledge of java,C#, C++ and some php.

Discord is bad for anything adult related. They refuse to provide multiple account support or any kind of identity isolation (despite multiple literal years long threads requesting this on there own feedback system). If you need to keep your private and public lives separate (like say if your job decided to use discord even though it's not "supposed to be" for professional work) then you just cannot use it all for anything you need to keep private. There WILL be accidental leaks. People are already posting about being fired because something got revealed to their job due to this issue or getting kicked off other servers.

Discord sucks ass for this kind of thing because there's no sane way to separate content for like tens of thousands of different creators. Not to mention that Discord servers are totally owned and hosted by Discord, and they go nutso over even loli.

All we need is a singular archive. There are data archive hosts everywhere. Physical disks are also an option.
First, we save the data.
Second, we figure out how to host it.

How, though? Without a dump from the creator, actually saving all the data on the site is a monumental task. There's just so much stuff accumulated on yiff.party, even after the purge a few months back. Combined with the server errors, it would take a LOT of computing power and organization to archive it all, and it's something I doubt can be done before the server goes down. It's not like the usual archival teams will help us preserve a piracy site.

Isolation is about more than a separate account, it's about SUPPORTING separate accounts with things like default behavior settings, hidden items, etc.

Can anyone contact the admin? If they don't have to do anything they might be willing to help. They made it pretty clear this was mostly about not wanting to have to spend time working on it anymore.
Many people in this area started as passion producers and even if they have fallen out of love you can usually get to them by showing your own enthusiasm.
