Think the games bugged, so if you choose not to buy a doughnut dildo and take out a loan, you can earn enough money to buy it later. But then you no longer level and are stuck at level 1
Also in case anyone's wondering (took me a while) to get rid of boxes (preferably empty) throw it at the trash can. Be careful when placing a bin inside, if it hovers near any boxes it'll wipe those out too

Oooooh, this is suddenly a lot more fun to play. Your savegame is under %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Lust Zone Studio\YOUR ADULT STORE\GameData1.dat; your money is in there in plaintext, for me at offset 0x0A28 (YMMV). If you had, say, $123.45, just overwrite it to $999999 et voila, Scrooge McDuck iz yu, and the world is your oyster... or something...

Oof, indeed, the grind is real, it takes forever to make money, and the return on investment on new licenses and expansion is not really worth it.
Also, the more products you have, the more the game becomes a chore simulator.
You need the warehouse to begin to automate shelving, this is very expensive and requires level 30. You can only reach higher levels by manning the cash register. And good luck doing that AND shelving, ordering, cleaning, etc...

I used an NPC to man the register as soon as I could, that let me do all the ordering and stocking to build up the store inventory. Then you have to fire the checkout to do it manually and level up.
Also if you are stuck like I was on how to automate, you need to set a label on an empty shelf space with an item in the warehouse to get the stocker to fill things.
The sorters have some sort of race condition with the stockers, they will pick up the box being stocked which can result in an empty box that will softlock the sorter in the warehouse. It locks out the player from picking up a stocking box but not the NPCs.

CE works on this game. You can't directly search for money value, but when a customer pays, you can search for total spend instead. This will give you a modifiable value. Change this value before you collect the payment (cash or card) to receive a massive amount of money all at once. Otherwise, saving up just by selling items would likely be a very long grind.
you can directly scan (4 byte) <money value>, if you have $146.4 search for 1464, if you have $132.41 search 13241

Editing savefile seems to set amount to 120.000 and unable to load savefile..

) to edit the file, BUT you cant's just type around in there freely - you have to make sure you replace ONLY the digits that record the amount of money you currently have. So you're free to replace "123.45" with "999.99" or "999999", but you MAY NOT change the length of the number: "99" or "99999999" is NOT okay. After you save it, the file should be EXACTLY the same size as the original (of which you made a backup copy of, obviously). At any rate, a million bucks should go a long way.Am I just stupid, or how do I get customers? I bought the donut but I'm not getting any revenue.
