So, I was wondering why? Why all these main characters in a porn games do what they do? Well, I can understand why I am doing this - because I want to fap, but what about them? I can see three categories here and I'd like to know, what you like.
1. Retarded pervert with spermotocsicosis. He is usually the youngest kid in the family and for some reason he want to fuck everyone. He just doesn't care about anything. I guess he is just retarded.
2. Almost the same as 1. I guess you could call him "Why not guy".
He is just lucky or attractive, or have an enormous penis. Some girl ask him to fuck her and he tells her "Why not". All you need to do is stick your dick into pizza and ring the doorbell. You could say, that this is just normal, but what if he has a girlfriend or wife? Like, is it so easy to cheat on your loved ones? 3. Real life story. Games with tension. The most adequate development of the plot in terms of logic and common sense. You don't fuck everything that moves. You can never have sex at all for a few updates. But, I guess that is not interesting for a majority of people, and because of that not promising for the developers. I guess the only successful project is Dual Family, where you can have sex maybe twice. What is really sad, because here you at least can see areason why your MC is fucking anyone.

So, let's imagine a situation. We have a normal guy, he is virgin, he doesn't care about it. Why should he decide to have sex with some abstract girl?

Story is actually good. It doesn't get boring. There's actually progress done only by a narrative, no grinding. Sex happens more in form of a rape than through happy relationship.

It really depends on the game, i don't mind the "eroge" mindset some devs have where sex has to happen fairly early and then the story, if there is one, comes second, it's a porn game and i'm okay with that format, it doesn't do much for me in terms of narrative and character development ect. but it doesn't have to, it does what it needs to do and not much else, people don't play Soul Calibre or Just Cause for the story, it's that sort of thing.

However motivation is important for all of the characters, why do these girls want to spend their lives bouncing on the MC's cock? It's not just why is the MC pursuing all of the girls but why are the girls letting him and why haven't they noticed that the whole school/street/family home have been walking like John Wayne since the MC came back home?

Realistically though motivation is important but is most important only in games with a serious story like CoBD where what the characters are thinking and planning really matter, motivation in a game like Man of The House is just an excuse, the real motivation is that the player wants the scenes, or in my case i want to fully unlock the gallery, see the route i haven't played through yet or w/e.

I do prefer games where the motivation matters but at the same time the "wait till 0.5 for sex" thing is a hard sell at times, unless the game really pulls me in i'll drop it before then, depending on update rate at least, gotta remember that i'm here for an XXX game not a standard VN, if i want a plot centric experience i'll read a book. In fact as someone involved in both writing and editing a game that choice of how much realism, how dense of a plot, how long do you wait on sex scenes and how much prep and groundwork do you have to do before a sex scene is quite a hard gaggle of choices, i don't think there is a right answer, just what's right for the particular game you're trying to make.

That you're here for the porn, why not, but it's not a porn site, not even a porn community. It's a site that focus on adult games, and therefore include porn ones. Just as Malaficus said, even if it feels like at this point I am copying his taste, I once again agree with them.

I'm cool with a good rape, even some deaths on occasion. However, I don't really have an interest in "that" extreme. I am more interested in breaking one's will to fit my own desires than destroying something. I don't understand the point of breaking one to that extent.
