I will start. I hate the games that start with one nice sister and one bitchy sister. That means the writer really doesn't know how to write interesting characters. Maybe I am a bit harsh, but that is how I feel.

I like when there is some challenge involved, when every girls just jumps into his dick for no reason suddenly it becomes generic porn.

The bitchy sister/nice sister one is so overdone that I can't believe that there are new high end games still using it, but there are. I've never enjoyed it.

One of mine is definately the obsession with virginity and purity. Even in cases where the women are well established adults, some devs go out of their way to say that they're virgins or have only been with one man. Please. Can we get some women who've had experience in life and know what they want? The whole virgin thing is a big turn off for me, and I'd really prefer that it only be a minor part of any game. Maybe a character or two as a kink.

I don't know about you, but that's certainly an overused theme -- practically a distinctive quality -- that seems to appear far too often in adult games. It's almost a unique characteristic in adult visual novels. One that we should do away with.

This one is Tsundere, that one is a yandere, here's your nerdy gal, there's the pro-gamer gal, look this one is ONLY interested in sports, and that one is all about gardening. Oh and right next to her is the busty milf step-mom who needs a special patch to get the real story about how much she loooooooves the MC. Just lazy writing/character generalizations really. Lotsa game devs here have spent far too long giving thier characters one or two things they like and calling it a day instead of giving the characters actual character.

as much as some of them annoy me, character tropes in sex games are always there because they're someone's (and the dev's) fantasy. people deliberately look for stories with those exact tropes because they love that exact story and that character. they want to see it again and again. they're not looking for your original character. when someone orders a pizza they're not gonna be too happy for the avocado ceviche you serve them.

Game over rape for me too, guess there's a good portion of people who like it cause there's a lot of games with it, but for me it kills the fun, cause if I want to get to the fucking I just have to die on each enemy I encounter and then load and beat them up, so at that point I'mma just gonna watch at the pictures/gallery from a save file

Some games have a funcion were when you beat the enemy you also unlock the gallery for said scene, but at that point I'm just again going to see the gallery with a save unless there's some other ecchi content scattered here and there

Altrough if the combact system is pretty good I just get engulfed by it and still enjoy the game, but at that point I'm not playing it for the porn anymore lol

1. Hard or tedious minigames, puzzles, combat - completely unnecessary in porn game. If I wanted intricate gameplay I have plenty of high quality regular games
2. Sandbox with unintuitive progression - if porn game requires a walk through I will most likely not even play it at all unless it has amazing h-scenes + fetishes I enjoy
3. Grinding - mindless clicking the same buttons is not fun, nor titillating.

I'm right there with you. I would much rather play as a guy who has to compete with other men (and women) for the affections of the women in the game, and needs to seduce them and prove himself to them. Its a lot more satisfying, and honestly hotter along the way. I want to get them to lust after my character, not have sex with him because he's the only option.
